  1. Still can't open the PDF @Alex, it says my account is not authorised to view that page.
  2. Would an alliance of 2D anime boys be your eternal enemies?
  3. This looks like the most peaceful war ever.
  4. I really love the flag. I want to print it on a bedsheet and sleep on it.
  5. I agree with Sketchy and I would like to add that whatever changes you plan to make @Alex please don't blindside us again. I can't quite understand the need to keep things hush hush if something major like an economy revamp was being planned. Look at someone like EVE Online that publishes their expected economy changes months in advance to let everyone know what's coming. Putting such things on the test server lets you work out the kinks before it goes live.
  6. This doesn't sound like a very good idea for someone taking a loan. Additionally, insurance for loans sounds like a terrible game mechanic with a lot of scope for abuse. People could start creating new nations, applying for loans for cities and infra, start warring and then once their nation is exhausted, abandon the game. And then start again. The people giving the loan don't suffer at all.
  7. If the arms market works like mercenaries, I have some suggestions and would love to hear some feedback. 1. The arms market should have a global limit that replenishes every 24/48 hours. For example, the max soldiers per cycle should be say 10 million and players can buy out of that pool. Once the pool is exhausted, it only refills at the next cycle. The reasons to do this are that first it is realistic. There can't be an endless supply of military units readily available for purchase for everyone. The second reason would be that when someone starts militarizing using the market, the global pool would go start going down faster and trigger some level of panic amongst other nations. 2. This might be controversial but units bought through the market should go over and above your own military caps. The max purchaseable units should also be based on your own military caps. For example, a 20% max limit based on your caps. So if you had 200k soldier cap, you could buy 40k soldiers from the market. 3. Arms market units should not add to your nation score. 4. Units recruited via the arms market expire after 72 hours. You can also not recruit units till all your previous ones have either been consumed or returned. So if you hired 200 planes today, in 3 days they would expire and you'd be left with whatever planes of your own that you had. The units from here should be treated as a boost rather than a permanent gain. 5. Disbanding or returning arms market units should give no refunds. 6. All mercenary units cost twice of their normal counterparts. 7. The arms market should only be accessible via a project.
  8. A possible solution could be that a nation with full defensive slots can recruit 50% more units than normal per day. When a nation gets hit by 3 attackers, there is very little chance for the nation to fight back and usually it becomes a war of attrition. This could, theoretically, give those nations a fighting chance. This is definitely something that needs rebalancing. Tanks are stupidly overpriced to the point where destroying tanks is a good way to cause financial damage to an opponent. Soldiers on the other hand are way too cheap. All military units need a cost rebalance taking the new economic reality into account.
  9. Hey! '10 seconds with a stranger' is my Tinder profile name. Please don't copy it.
  10. Hey that's cool! I might come to you for a flag soon!
  11. I can only speak for myself. I do it for the 300k. Blame Sheepy.
  12. I really want to know where these video editing skills are from
  13. Every alliance in the game needs Buorhann as their FA or War Adviser or something. He knows what everyone else needs to do and what is worthwhile. Let's not mess up anymore; take advice from him before making any more moves Orbis! Got it?! Let him show de wae.
  14. Why do you need a loan? What do you plan to do with the money and why can't your alliance give you the funds?
  15. Congratulations Lordran, welcome to IQ!
  16. Why not Sinister Soul Sisters? Excellent flag btw!
  17. Exam instructions unclear, nuke stuck in recycling center.
  18. I nominate Fraggle for all categories.
  19. But...its fried chicken. No one likes overcooked chicken. It's dry and keeps going round and round in your mouth, refusing to enter your throat and stomach.
  20. Genuine question - if you're a right winger, can you still eat left wings from a fried chicken?
  21. Why not to Alex? He fixed our broken servers a few days ago. In my eyes, he is Player of the Year for 5 years now.
  22. There's only one way to solve this mess. All nations with 700+ days can decide on a council of 5 players. These 5 players will choose "deserving" candidates which will of course be totally unbiased and fair. Because as humans, we never make biased decisions. Once the "deserving" candidates are chosen, the community will vote. Every vote will be double checked against the voters forum age and nation age. If they look like trolls or seem like trolls or even smell like trolls, they will be denied their vote.At the end of the day, Democracy wins and so does the "deserving" candidate.
