  1. Do we have some thoughts from Epi about this DoW?
  2. Enjoy the peace and rebuilding.
  3. It also didn't work out too well for them. Nice to see that there was no desire for longterm bad blood here.
  4. I propose the name of this conflict to be Billy Joel's excellent song, "Say Goodbye To Hollywood."
  5. The Hegemon is dead. Long live the hegemon.
  6. Interesting peace deal. I must say that getting people off of one's color and having a short NAP is an interesting approach.
  7. Life comes at you fast. I generally agree with the comments on this post. There are certainly ways that you can survive and thrive as a micro--staying active, finding a niche, developing a community and a distinctive identity all help. Getting good at the game mechanics and working hard can help a lot. I'm pretty sure that no one wants to see people complaining that "life is hard," though. There's plenty of ways one can play this game well and build the respect of others, and hopefully you can stick it out and develop your skills and get the respect of your fellow players, who will respect you no matter how big of an alliance you happen to be a part of.
  8. No one's stopping you, though they may counter you :D.
  9. A DOE and a leaked DoW at the same time? Noice.
  10. A good start; I was thinking you'd look at infra levels and troop levels as well.
  11. Nice to see the example of training alliances spread. Next up is the whale offshore, I guess.
  12. Congrats on existing.
  13. Congrats on the opening of your bank. Just make sure not to pull a Taith, I guess.
  14. It's a good thing that you're not destroyed just because an internet troll says you are.
  15. Congrats on existing and we look forward to interacting with you.
  16. I quite agree with you that this process would have removed the appearance of fraud and the reality of incompetence from how this has been handled. It would have provided at least some means of building consensus rather than seeking to rig a poll. But this sort of consensus building and genuine democratic decision-making is too advanced for the sort of people who simply want to rubber stamp their own desired changes.
  17. Oof, you didn't have to out Zephyr there, that's pretty tough.
  18. If you don't have a solid consensus for a change, it's probably best not to rely on a temporary and slight majority to argue for a mandate for change.
  19. What exactly were you trying to do here?
