Occupations

Since raiding gets boring and doesnt really happen in the real world it would be more interesting to have Occupations.

How It Works

When you defeat a nation in war (getting immense triumphs) after that you have the choice of looting, or occupation.

If you decide occupation you will have to put a minimum amount of soldiers inside the occupied country (depending on their score)

Example: 500 score you have to put 5,000 soldiers and 500 tanks, or 1000 score and 10,000 soldiers and 1,000 tanks.

Also if the enemy still has some soldiers left i.e: X Nation has 1,000 soldiers left and is 500 score you would have to put the score amount of soldiers, tanks and you have to put the double amount of enemy combats left. If you place soldiers in the enemy nation they cannot defend you if your home nation is attacked, only if your occupied nation is attacked. The occupied nation will not be beige unless they free themselves.

If your home nation is beiged you will lose all your occupations.

Also if you occupy 3 nations then it will say in your nation bio you occupy those nations, this applies to the nation occupied except only one name will appear.

For every city you have you can occupy a nation

Why would you want to Occupy a nation?

Instead of looting a nation you could occupy it. After you place the appropriate amount of soldiers in the nation you control a certain amount of the occupied nations revenue and resources. So instead of getting a lump of available stuff you get much more over a certain amount of time. The occupation rate will be around 10 - 40%

What will happen to the Occupied nation and how will they be freed?

The occupied nation will be free from other war declarations, however other nations can intervene on the occupied nations behalf to free them or occupy them instead. The occupied nation will lose around 10-40% of their revenue to the occupier.

To be freed either 3 days/36 turns or a revolt must occur.

Foreign Intervention and Revolts

Other nations can declare war against the Occupier but the battleground will not be the defenders nation, instead no nations will suffer infrastructure damage. However soldiers, tanks, planes and ships will all be effected in the battle for foreign freedom or a new occupier.

Revolts are when the enemy nation (the occupier) has too little soldiers and the occupied can raise an army in one go and get a immense triumph. This will break off the occupation and the nation will be freed and they will be put on beige.

Also, im adding that the nation that is occupied will have "This nation is occupied by ____" and for the occupier it is "This nation is occupying _____, ______, ____ and ____".

If your home nation goes to war and you lose and get beiged you will lose all the nations you occupied

This is like the 5th time this has been proposed.

Yea but this is much more planned out.

Like you can only occupy nations you can goto war with

Its an option , either this or loot

It influences with foreign intervention and will force other nations to implement their own policies on this

It makes politics much more useful to cause or avoid alliance wars
