I'm just confused why you came to me tbh...but the hostilities likely could have been due their unstable government and having several different leaders.

Well, our government has actually become pretty stable after I got in power. :)

Protip: You can't. This is a public service announcement for other alliances regarding SWF's potential remaining connections to UPN leadership, given the evidence at hand. Comms from their Skype that were posted on the forums at around the time of their declaration show UPN pledging their support for their war against us as well. As they have publicly broken with UPN yet the war continues against us despite peacing their allies, it appears their relationship with UPN continues behind the scenes, and they continue fighting us because we haven't sought out any allies for protection, and can be hit without triggering defensive pacts.

As already mentioned before, this attack has been planned for about a month. We didn't attack you because we wanted to help UPN, but because we're fed up of the bahaviour of some annoying, unimportant micro alliance that thinks it can just do what it wants. Furthermore, as the screenshot says, we didn't plan to help UPN, but to recieve help from them.

And now, we continued the attacks, not because we want to help UPN, but because you're still an annoying, unimportant micro alliance that thinks it can just do what it wants.

Don't forget that we didn't start the conflict. You did, by raiding members of the SWF after you accepted Red Reznikov as a member (whom we kicked out of our alliance because of his uncontrollable, destructive behaviour.)

But well... I don't wanna be so mean. I'll give you a chance for peace. Just contact me :D

P.S. And by "me" I mean me,  not somebody who isn't even related to our government. This is a very rude thing to do.

SWF is literally one of the only alliances that IR has tried extending an olive branch too. One of the only alliances we offered to put on a no raid list. One of the only alliances we actually wanted to get along with. And SWF has responded with absolutely nothing but ignoring comms and kicking us while we are down.

Again, opportunistic. You extended an olive branch to then because they're actually strong enough to beat you up. I sort of think they were wise not to take it.

No that ain't what is being said here. IR is saying that SWF is continuing a war on them that is aiding UPN, even though SWF has cut ties with UPN.

that is all. folks nothing else to see here..

Once again, your wall of text can be summed up with a simple image:

We extended olive branches to them from when we were first starting out as an alliance an alliance, hell before we really started raiding en force. We offered them NAP's, promises of putting them on no raid lists (we actually had put them on a no raid list) promises to pay extra reps for whenever one of our members attacked them by accident, shit we never offered to any other alliance. We wanted to at least have good relations with the only other really explicit leftist alliance. Not because we were "scared" of them. If we were scared of the first alliance that had a few strong guys we wouldn't have tango'd with NAC and VE for like a month straight.

For all it is worth, I can corroborate President Dovgan's words.

The UPN only played the role (albeit terribly) of raid protector for the Socialist Workers' Front. Our original protector had been the Dutch East India Company, however, they refused to renew their protection. Therefore, we turned to the other large alliance within the Covenant. Apart from this designation, the UPN played almost no part in our alliance. Furthermore, when the failure of the Covenant became painfully apparent, nobody (to my knowledge) in the Socialist Workers' Front opposed our departure from the Covenant.

If the war with the International Revolution was fought on behalf of the UPN, why would we publicly and practically sever all ties to the Covenant?

The status of the International Revolution was never discussed in the context of the UPN, certainly not officially and definitely not in any correspondence between myself and the leadership of the Socialist Workers' Front. I can personally attest to the various calls to strike the International Revolution well before the October War. The Socialist Workers' Front simply needed a caucus beli and the assurance that it was not striking a potential ally of the Covenant (to which we then belonged). Therefore, the International Revolution's strike against the Covenant simply removed any restraints that had previously held us back.

Speaking from my experience, the Socialist Workers' Front hates the International Revolution for its behaviour, its attempt to compete with us, and naturally, their perversion of Socialism into anarchism. We have no motivation to aid the UPN and the Covenant. Unlike many other alliances, the Socialist Workers' Front defines itself by a real-life ideology with real-life rivals. We operate on a slightly different frequency than the rest of Orbis.

Quite frankly, I am tired of these attempts to implicate the Socialist Workers' Front in a fabricated conspiracy with the UPN. An escalation of the conflict is simply a means by which the International Revolution seeks to destroy a too powerful alliance. I consider International Revolution's shouting of a 'connexion' between the UPA and the Socialist Workers' Front a mere signal of weakness and maybe even defeat.

what is there to be scared of?  you guys are so small, its next to impossible to put you down for longer than a week, since its so cheap to repair any damage you take.  Tho it is funny when you declare war, and run out of money less than a day later.

Yeah sorry we all keep telling another person to finish up the negotiations. What were our terms even again?

I hope that means there are none. Perhaps get someone else to finish negotiations?

They had tentatively agreed to a few of our demands if memory serves me right.

Yeah.... This post totally screams "I won".....

I'll be nice and shut my mouth. Just this once.

SamBoga asked me to come up with something and talk to Socialist Workers Front...I came up with something pretty reasonable....I'd advise reconsidering what I had wrote out as well Sam knows how to get a hold of me, obviously....

But, you no longer have the upper hand. In fact it can be argued that you are now in a position of weakness, considering the relentless attacks by SWF, and may be forced to accept the new terms laid out by The Evenstar Empire.

P.M. me over P&W whenever you get the chance, Kyoko. We can talk from there more freely and comfortably.

If I remember right they weren't anything severe. I think it was just they stop talking shit about us so damn much and we have an NAP. If people actually tried to approach us diplomatically they would find we are relatively easygoing in terms of peace conditions.
