Sherman T Potter
Some of the people in Florida are kind of... weird. They'd probably have a civil war and kill each other. 3 Quote Established December 2013 <a href="http://www.free-iqtest.net" title="IQ Test"><img src="http://www.free-iqtest.net/images/badges2/l70.gif" width="200" height="100" alt="IQ Test" border="0"></a><br/><a title="IQ Test" href="http://www.free-iqtest.net">IQ Test</a>
Nadir Aminu
Some of the people in Florida are kind of... weird. They'd probably have a civil war and kill each other. Same with California. Kentucky made the list of "States most dependent on the federal government" at #3 http://wallethub.com/edu/states-most-least-dependent-on-the-federal-government/2700/ For the record: I'm from Massachusetts. We're #8 in the "least dependent on the federal government" list. I wish Massachusetts was 50th. Oblige
im pretty confident that New York state will do fine as an independent state. Hell we can even retake Vermont. You mean Eastern NY? I think the city would do just fine. It's still the incumbent finance capital of the world, on the seaboard, a major port and inlet for the Hudson River. I think Albany would stay the capital to maintain the balance between the city and upstate. We have a large number of nuclear power plants, so we're fairly self sufficient there. Agriculture might be an issue, especially during the winter, but besides that we'd be in pretty good shape.

Thalmor
Kentucky could solve some of it's economy troubles with independence by adopting totalitarian policies for a few years. West Virginia could also be invaded with relative ease. I honestly just want to see Kentucky take over all of North American. We're actually a really cool state, and others (such as the savages of the west coast) need to feel southern enlightenment.

Thalmor
What if you, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, and Michigan formed the Great Lakes Commonwealth and you can be the military state? Why would Kentucky join the Great Lakes Commonwealth? Kentucky isn't even close to the Great Lakes. If anything, Kentucky would join the new Confederate States of America.

Juan Julio Montague
Same with California. Are we weird or would we start a civil war? I mean us being weird is new, but the civil war thing is borderline unlikely. Any sense of nationalism for the state of Jefferson is borderline dead at this point. Thalmor
Are we weird or would we start a civil war? I mean us being weird would be objective, but the civil war thing is borderline unlikely. Any sense of nationalism for the state of Jefferson is borderline dead at this point. Honestly, although the whole Kentucky independence thing is a hypothetical situation that I honestly hope doesn't happen anytime soon, I am totally fine with California gaining independence. The whole 50 electoral votes thing is ridiculous.
Ibrahim (Banned)
I support an American civil war. It will do the world a whole lot of good. Which side needs guns? My military industrial complex will make sure it rages on forever I guess you have a shit load of guns as it is so I will make sure to keep it burning with some oil money. Big Boss
California would do perfectly fine without the fed. In fact if Cali left it'd be the 13th largest economy in the world. We'd have a pretty good defense, too. Quote "We pull in money, new recruits, all just to combat cipher, rubbing our noses in bloody battlefield dirt, all for revenge." "Why are we still here? Just to suffer? Every night i can feel my leg, and my arm, even my fingers. The body i've lost, The comrades i've lost, won't stop hurting... it's like they're all still there... You feel it too, don't you?"
Aesir
Honestly the only state that really stands a chance is Texas. Not only does it have a good economy but it also has a coast line and if it did secede then I think a few other states would follow. As it stands though I believe Texas is the only state to survive on its own. Other states would need to secede in groups to survive. (I am not from Texas) Quote Art by Faroreswind159
