I think these stats would be improved by adding custom indexes that make sense. Calculate a version of Dan77's rating and tell us which alliances kick ass the most overall at any time, or this week or this month or yesterday. Figure out a proxy index for economic strength (total alliance market volume? total income estimate? avg income of nations in alliance?). For growth, more than just absolute score and member numbers would be interesting - which alliances are adding the most cities, or infra, or military power tracked separately? 

 

As it is it mostly is just summarizing the info that is instantly available on the alliances leaderboard. Useful in some respects as a historical record, but it isn't being presented that way, so...
