It wasn't long before we built a rapport with the United Socialist Nations and we are proud to finalize a formal agreement with them today. It's quite clear to me that there is a lot of vitriol between the coalitions that predates my time here, so I am not surprised negotiations aren't moving as quickly as many people would like them to. While I don't particularly care for the squabbles that predate GOONS, considering how long this war has been going on I believe the fact that the talks are happening at all is a significant sign of progress. But to assume that the talks will neatly wrap up within a matter of days since beginning for a war that has been occurring for several months is either a sign of naivete or empty posturing. I already am aware that the purpose of this thread is the latter.

The fault clearly belongs to GOONS for declaring late, since we demonstrated we can materialize with 140 members in a matter of a month that means we should have done this back in May to make things more fair. I neither care for what is subjectively considered fair nor whataboutisms. We weren't here then, but we are now. And wouldn't even be in the war if it weren't for the abysmal incompetence in which your coalition allies handle diplomacy.

A very welcomed turn of events. As much as I enjoy the war, I found the rhetorical, lazy stalemate on these forums to be the real war crimes.

What are you talking about? We got involved because your coalition greenlit us for an espionage campaign after two newbie nations made a mistake and then you (collectively) declared us an enemy in the negotiations. Your decision to treat us like an enemy is what prompted us to join the war. There was no alternative after your side made that abundantly clear.

The only court of law I recognize are the Mercy Boards.
