On slack also you can make your own channel under your alliance which is invitation only (although slack is more user friendly it is completely my own thought it can vary from people to people)

Well slack can be very good if you are from some neutral alliance (i.e. you will hardly need any alliance) Slack is more user-friendly inside an alliance of course but discord is nice if you say want to do a group chat with several members of different alliances. But I must say I have used IRC for 2 days and not really liked it

Resource cost: Alum:10,000 :Gasoline: 7500 :Steel: 10,000 Cash cost: 100,000,000 (I think these are highly expensive but that is okay as only a few nation has aircraft carriers and they have high importance also ) Price of each aircraft carrier (after the project is completed): Alum: 5000, Uranium: 250( only if the nation have uranium enrichment programm) otherwise Gasoline: 5000, Steel : 1500 Cash: 200,000,000 (In real life they cost much more than that ) Once made they will cost $100,000 , 10 food , 5 uranium/100 gasoline in peace time and in war $200,00 , 50 food , 10 uranium/ 250 gasoline

Well, in this case, I can suggest one thing maybe a aircraft carrier project??? And to use aircraft carrier you will need say 6 MAP that will give both blockade and air superiority. Then the game may look more realistic Just a suggestion from a newcomer to the game
