--- A KT member taunts a large army of Oasis members from a hill: "You spineless dogs, send over a ten of your best warriors to fight me!" Ten people from across TI, TFP, Aurora, UPN, and SoL go over the hill with the Templar, there are sounds of fighting, screaming, bones breaking, then quiet. A few minutes later the lone Templar emerges again, and taunts the Oasis members: "You bunch of filthy bastards, send over a hundred of your best warriors to fight me!" A hundred people from across TI, TFP, Aurora, UPN, and SoL go over the hill, there are sounds of fighting, then quiet. Soon enough the Templar comes out once again, and taunts the assembly of Oasis members: "You pathetic weaklings, send over a thousand of your best warriors to fight me!" Just as the rest of Oasis are once again preparing to go and fight the Templar, one of their comrades - a TI member - crawls up the hill, beaten to a pulp, but still alive and says: "Watch out, guys, it's a trap! There's two of them!"

Choko resigned from the defense, and Nokia has taken his place. Chute Mi has joined the prosecution alongside Arctic. The Jury is full. I would still like for another hand to join the defense team. Choko (Choko#8309, id=195090), 2ic of the Rockefeller Group, has volunteered as defense counsel for Taith. Additionally, 3 of the 5 jury seats have been filled by James Wilson of TI, Nokia, and Jadenstar.

The Trial of Taith Last week was the first cancelled show in over a year, so this Friday's episode will have extra content in it. However, on top of that, I will also be hosting The Trial of Taith. I don't really know what the specifics are with Taith and so I decided that instead of having Arctic explain it to me, I will learn about it through a trial. I will be the Judge, and Arctic will be lead prosecutor. I am looking for an assistant prosecutor, a lead defense, and an assistant defense. I am also looking for jurors (5 total). If you wish to volunteer for any of these positions (or know someone who does), private message me on Discord. A small, easy, and useful quality of life improvement: Allow for bounties to be filtered by type (attrition, raid, or nuclear) and by amount ($1,000,000, $1,000,000+ $10,000,0000+, and $100,000,000+). A lot of bounties are $1,000,000 and just take up space. Being able to filter those would be useful.

CirtusK nailed it on the head. Post alliance announcements, memes, and dunk on people. My upvotes have come from all three, with memes and dunks being the biggest contributer. Also I've been doing this for years. It takes time. It didn't happen overnight. Aiya is also right though. Don't get hung up on internet points. It's not the best indicator of anything except that you post on the forums a lot.

I like the idea of guaranteed damage. 50% is to high for Iron Dome anyways. It's not like 172 infra lost in 1 of 32 cities or whatever is going to break someone anyways.

Pantheon probably should've been destroyed but it should've happened as a result of the community failing to fight for it's existence through competent membership and administration. This seems like an artificial death and I think that cringe.

The precedent has been that the big, major alliances that drive politics (and their less relevant friends) do abide by NAPs. Correct me if I'm wrong, but there's never been a considerable NAP violation by any 'major' alliance on another. Like, a new global never started because Rose or The Syndicate hit TKR or NPO or something like that. There was a time a few years ago where Arrgh was forbidden from raiding after UPN 'beat' them in a war and even Arrgh obeyed it. Alliances overwhelming abide by agreements to not do anything for a length of time. The 'NAP violations' almost exclusively occur between minor alliances and apolitical alliances. Micros, protectorates of second rate alliances, and so forth. The reality is that nobody gives a shit about that and if it does become an issue, the big daddies nip it in the bud in backrooms. Even with KT and Oasis, nobody outside will do anything because it's just not worth it. Nobody cares in the first place that we raided Oasis. It's clearly evident Oasis is taking care of it themselves, and intervening against KT would require a sacrifice in time (in gov officials managing wars and messaging members) and treasure (war damages). The big, politically active alliances are happy to sign NAPs because it's fairly guaranteed safety. They're even happier to actually execute on a NAP. NAP violations aren't a big deal historically and I don't think that will ever change. It would be nice for the practice to roll back some. I understand the motivations behind the current NAP and globals will be under different circumstances and the involved alliances will have to make the best decisions for their communities, but shorter NAPs between specific alliances is way better than blanket NAPs between everyone.
