Nothing against FSO, but wasn't this blitz the result of your plans to blitz them being leaked to them? Can't really play victim when you all were the ones intending on being the aggressors and just got beat to the punch.
I think Jeston is suggesting an in-game feature to create images/thumbnails, which I think would be overly complicated for the very little cosmetic benefit it would add.
From what I can tell, they were intending on blitzing Camelot tomorrow (hence DoW?), but Camelot found out and pre-emptively hit them. So in a way, this should technically be RoH despite their original DoW intentions.
First post as Head of FA, and on the forums period, and it's to announce a dogpile on Cam. Nice. Good luck to all parties and I look forward to seeing how everyone handles.
I suppose I see your point, but then this forces everyone to have at least 1 of each military building in their MMR, which can reduce production/commerce and is frankly annoying. I'm not in favor of any game mechanic that would essentially force a certain MMR or a certain minimum MMR.
Well first of all, you can only have up to 3 dry docks (not 5). Why? I don't know. Ask Alex lol. Second, yes, the main reason most people don't have ships is because they are generally too expensive to maintain during peace time and the improvements can be better used for commerce, production, etc. Basically, their cost versus benefit cannot be justified for most.
But what if I don't want to use a "tiny" amount of rss every day that would add up to train my troops (especially when they already have a daily upkeep cost)? I would be at a disadvantage and, according to your suggestion, even lose military efficacy. It's idiotic, in my opinion, to force people to essentially waste rss daily just to "keep up" and to penalize them if they miss a day.
