TheNG Posted April 24, 2015 Share Posted April 24, 2015 Part of the Calculation The calculation takes into account: Soldiers, Tanks, Planes, Ships, Missles, Spies, Infra, Land, and Cities. I've decided not to take GDP or Population into account, but thats just me. Keep in mind this is an example. <3 I decided that there should be 5 spies to every nation, and that this category should use 10 points, so I took an alliances and times its members by 5, using VE as an example: 5 x 109 = 545 they only have 326. Difference is 219, x 2 = 652 and round to the nearest 100, then base score. So VE got 7 points for spies, as 652 rounded up is 700. This calculation isn't perfect, but I plan to perfect it by next friday. This is from the original alpha rankings. Quote "They say the secret to success is being at the right place at the right time. However, that aside, people knocking Kastor for this ought to shut their traps. He's doing more than a lot of you to provide content to this burgeoning community. Do I agree with his list? Nope. The Top 15 don't represent all the strong alliances of PnW, however. The number of alliances in--game has significantly increased, and it's sort of unfair to exclude alliances like TEst, UST, Alpha, Paradoxia, BRMC...you know what I mean. The list should be extended to Top 30, or at least Top 20. Inactive or beige nations should be excluded from the calculations as well for accuracy.
