This explains so much, including my almost instant dislike of him when he first showed up and started posting absolute nonsense.

Considering how you're a contrarian who calls things nonsensical despite being sensible, that doesn't really mean much.

Don't worry, you're not the only person left out. I, and anyone else with the pleasure of being born XX are also rather screwed on this occasion. Such is life, instead of worrying, please, join us for tea.

I'm not crying, what about an apathetic statement of fact with a casual passing disregard automatically means crying to you?
This ignoring that your link is irrelevant, as it is not what the OP asked for, and therefore does not count. It clearly states, male, american, over 18, perform a certain task. That's all there is to it, just keep moving along.

Once again, why is an apathetic statement of fact immediately taken as some sort of whining or attack on the action? Are people really this desperate to be getting shot at so they can justify firing back?

Hey @Olive Penderghast and@Honey Monster quick question. Does this break the rules on exchanging real life currency for in game items? While OP isn't getting money, an institution of his choosing is. Seems like a yes to me, but there is some nuance here.

I apologize for the wait in a reply, I am currently reading through this, and I do think this violates

Real-World Transactions for In-Game Materials

Politics & War has a limited donation system to prevent the game from being "pay-to-win." In addition to limits on Credit usage, it is against the rules for players to make exchanges of real-life money or goods for in-game materials, including but not limited to: in-game money, and in-game resources. Examples of this type of behavior would include: sending someone real-life money for in-game money or in-game resources, purchasing someone a Steam game for in-game money or in-game resources, sending someone a gift-card for in-game money or in-game resources, and any other sort of real-world trade for in-game goods.

The punishment for real-world transactions for in-game materials will be a complete nation reset upon first offense, and a permanent ban from Politics & War upon a second offense.

Which was found in the Game Rules. I am messaging Alex to see what he thinks, but if this was up to me, I see this as a rule violation in a way, however since that rule is from the Game Rules, I would need to ask Alex about the course of action. If you have any more questions, feel free to shoot me a DM

Alright, seriously. Real money trading. I don't care what he says about not personally getting a payout; he's brokering a transaction of ingame money in exchange for the recipient to join a society with member dues. That is straight up, hands down, without question real money trading.

If you want to get banned, man, just spam links to pornhub ?

>charity event

Even if we ignore the fact that you're trying to use ingame money to support the KofC, and even if we ignore the fact that the KofC is a business with revenues of over 2.2 billion USD and that their chairman is paid over 2 million dollars a year (financial records from 2015), what you're doing isn't charity in any sense. You're offering compensation for someone to join and be a dues-paying member of a society. That's irrefutable. Sure, the KofC is a 'non-profit' organization and does charity work in their own right, but that's very indirectly related to what you're trying to accomplish here.

There's always something going on, eh?

I don't think this is appropriate. The point of the Real-World Transactions for In-Game Materials rule is to prevent things like this, even if it may be well-intended, I don't think it's right to be trading in-game funds for some out-of-game purpose.

Hopefully we'll consider this a lesson learned, and consider this "competition" void. As such, I will be locking the thread to signify that a decision has been reached and there's really no further need for discussion on the matter.
