Should you not be allowed to go into vacation mode while you are involved in a war?

If you are fighting some one that goes into vacation mode then let them. Once they do that they can no lknger purchase military, declare wars, fight current wars, they cant recieve or send money and resources to and from the bank, and they cant use the market. They are frozen in time and cant do anything. But the people who are still at war with him when he goes into vacation mode can still attack him until their wars with him expire.

Amidst the eternal waves of time From a ripple of change shall the storm rise Out of the abyss peer the eyes of a demon Behold the razgriz, its wings of black sheath The demon soars through dark skies Fear and death trail its shadow beneath Until men united weild a hallowed sabre In final reckoning, the beast is slain As the demon sleeps, man turns on man His own blood and madness soon cover the earth From the depths of despair awaken the razgriz Its raven wings ablaze in majestic light

As pointed out above, when someone who is at war goes into Vacation Mode, they are then preventing from buying more military units and attacking back. Anyone who is at war with them, however, can continue to attack mercilessly until the war expires (or ends in Victory.)

When someone legitimately needs to leave (emergency, vacation, military service, whatever) I will not prevent them from going into Vacation Mode simply because someone happened to attack them. They'll face a stiff penalty, but likely a better outcome than coming back to a destroyed nation.

How about a system that waits to put you in vacation mode until after the earliest war concludes?

as it stands now, you can go into vacation mode immediately after the first person hits you, preventing anyone else from joining.

If the Vacation mode waited until the first conflict finishes. theres still time for others to join. and once the first is finished, the system would activate and work as normal.

This would hamper those that choose to cheat the system, while still offering the protection for those that actually go to a third world country with no internet.

It wouldn't fix the blatant abuse of the system, but it would make it a little less BS.

If they are being wrecked even by one person let them hide. I think some kind of forum penalty should be used but that's another thread. Plus it's fun to see them scramble for the vacation button

It doesn't negatively effect anyone other then the person being attacked. This is a moot point.

Stop creating work for Alex. If it isnt broken no need to fix it.

I don't like the VM abusers that post on the forums, but this aspect of it is fine. Its a HUGE penalty for people to go into VM after being attacked, one that a few people get hit with each war when they panic. Its fine how it is.
