Yes, higher minimum wages comes with problems as well. There's a couple options, increase minimum wage and you might end up with a lower/middle class that actually has money to spend that stimulates the economy and creates more jobs to be had, offsetting the unemployment that you trade for higher wages. And again that's a maybe. The other is we've simply reached a point of productivity where there isn't enough work to go around at wages that allow people to survive. You can solve this with no strings attached government support, along the lines of basic income, or by shortening the work week and raising wages. It's totally possible there are other solutions, but I don't see the anti-handout crowd proposing anything that makes any sense whatsoever.

 helping the unfortunate?!, we aren't helping the unfortunate were helping the government get stronger and have an excuse to raise taxes, some goes to college, but most goes to the governments personal intrest.  My rich family help the unfourinate by giving to private charities(only ones we know aren't corrupt)

I think making the succesful paying extra 'success tax' is a punishment. I have an argument if you would pay attention, i just prefer debating in a few senteces instead of a full paragraph. If you want an argument debate this beilif i have- All education should be privztized

American Internet is privatized. Take a look at American Internet providers; such as Comcast and AT&T. They compete with each other and they still manage to !@#$ over their customers, especially Comcast. They don't compete for better or faster internet service to offer to their customers.

 

Also, American Internet is considerably slower than most countries, ranking #14 in the world. So no, privatization isn't a good solution.
