Administrators Popular Post Alex Posted January 2, 2016 Administrators Popular Post Share Posted January 2, 2016 Some small, but really neat changes have been made! Now, when you look at your (or another's) nation, you'll see 99 of the nearest nations. You can click on their circles in the map to take you directly to their nation page. Same idea for alliances. A couple caveats: -Nations that are too close to you won't be displayed. This is to make it easy for players to locate their own nations, in the center of their maps -If there aren't enough nations close by, 99 nations may not be displayed. 99 is just the cap for the number of nations within range that can be displayed. -The size of the circles is relative to your nation score. Having a higher nation score compared to nearby nations will make your nation's circle appear larger, and vice versa -Alliances will only display the 9 closest alliances on their maps That's all I can think of for now. Enjoy this update, and expect other great new content and improvements coming soon! Happy New Years! 9 Is there a bug? Report It | Not understanding game mechanics? Ask About It | Got a good idea? Tomasious Rubinlord
I reccomend finding a way to bold the player's nation to differ it from his locals.

Administrators Alex Posted January 2, 2016 Author Administrators Share Posted January 2, 2016 This makes it hard to tell where other peoples nations are. Why? The nation you're looking at is always in the center of the map, with a radius around them in which no other nations will display so they don't overlap. I reccomend finding a way to bold the player's nation to differ it from his locals. That might be possible, I'll have to check. Is there a bug? Report It | Not understanding game mechanics? Ayayay
Looks ugly tbh Might look better if it showed random nations throughout my entire map view instead of just that closest nations ring. johnl023
Great incentive for me to get bigger. Right now, looking at my map, I look sort of like any well-to-do nation.
Hereno
it's a good idea but in practice i don't think it's going to work out like this. you would probably be much better off having our national maps display other nations in our alliance rather than just any nation within a certain proximity. that would get rid of the whole "ring of circles around a bullseye" that we're getting now.

Kurdanak
The fact that it doesn't show nations right next to you makes me feel very lonely over in Iceland. D: Everything is better with tacos!
