  1. After a cursory by-hand glimpse at the HoF wars page since the start of the war on June 29th, 2022, I have found a grand total of: 7, wars against Hollywood nations. I think one or two of these were within 48 hours of the blitz. Hundreds, against Celestial, including near a hundred, maybe beyond, I don't have sheets and I'm sure as shit not counting all of these by hand, on the day of the blitz. But yeah no they totally blitzed both sides! They're totally fighting both Actively! You can tell because while fighting a victorious militarized sphere outnumbering them 12:1 they're getting bored and clubbing Polaris and random micros while having full military! Not to say that they slotfilled, but this rhetoric implies they've been even close to evenly hitting both sides and therefore it's ridiculous for Ro$e to target them. This is what HC has been trying to claim. Yeah, no. Please stop reiterating this total and complete nonsense. It is blatantly and patently false, let's not contribute to it spreading.
  2. If we're not at war, why were you attacking as part of the enemies blitz and continue to do so? Seems pretty clear to me you've been in it from the beginning, the fact you choose to maraud around and harass others while doing so or that because you declared less wars than fingers on a hand on HW people at one point isn't really a defense to that.
  3. Correction, you hit everyone but CoA, Polaris and Alpha. Coincidentally they turned out to be pretty much irrelevant and one was blanket banned. Rose lost that so hard because of gross incompetence. Including myself who'd only just woken up out of retirement a couple weeks prior, and thought the old guards knew better than to fire off with their assigned blitz targets after getting slotted. Well, they know now, but I was the only upper tier alive at the end of the day in ASM, and alot of whales across the whole sphere did the exact same thing (DtC even did it), and unsurprisingly being in 5 wars at once did not end well. That probably still wouldn't have been enough if the response from the three you didn't it was coordinated properly, for various reasons from the way the server was set up to Alpha not using discord because they're multis that didn't happen. However, do not pretend you were that hilariously outnumbered. TEst is just mini Grumpy and we all know how well those downdeclares work. Especially when your targets fired the sphere-planned pre-empt blitz before the signal was given. To think, the timetable for that pre-empt got pushed back 3 times. I think it was originally set for :40? Then 45, then 50, and then... Too late.
  4. We were sending spy ops within a few minutes of the hits and wondering why the hell we weren't mentioned or hit. Spent the next hour discussing when we should go until someone got caught spying. Jig was up, i could only get like 8-9 people for 10pm but we shot.
  5. We appreciate the thoughts and kindness, really we do. But Red woulda been mad as hell you left us out, and since he can't punch you upside the head we'll do it for him.
  6. Just a few more lives to change forever buddy. Almost there. Just a few more... Love you forever.
  7. For the love of Christ just shoot the damn dog already god fricking damn. This should've been done years ago when it abused in NPOLT, it was even admitted then that it had no reason to exist and only did so because Alex was a coding noob and wanted to see if he could code a mediocre baseball simulator. It is seriously, far and away, not worth the attention or scripting nonsense or whatever the !@#$ else this is. Just. Pull. The. Damn. Trigger. The dog needs to rest.
  8. I'm happy to see the hypothetical wars you chose are at least ones Clock would actually take. They like fighting as long as it's an easy kill. And that's why I liked this thread, because after you all spent the announcement one masturbating about how cool, dynamic and risk-taking you are, you came here to explain that actually the "big-norm breaking risk we knew would have extenuating consequences wasn't actually ours because big evil Syndi man practically forced us at gunpoint!!!!" I mean it's ok I didn't take your nonsense seriously to begin with, it's just funnier seeing the mask fall. "Ohhhh but even with HoF we don't think we coulda wonnnn no chance" I mean even despite tiering data not agreeing with that... Aren't y'all the supposed risk-taking innovators? Grow a fricking pair and make a chance. My preferred strategy for Duck Hunt involved mass media disinformation so that a demilled Quack got slapped by a milled HM alone that used it's tiering advantage and military in conjunction with tiers being pretty much hard-locked to still be able to win a 1:3 aggressive blitz, and hold them down. But see, that never saw the light of day because Lefty told me no one would even consider such a thing. Too dangerous. Even though the math actually reflected it was very possible, it was also very difficult and very dangerous, and you people only have the stomach to take fake risks where you know you're gonna win or where you're gonna suck yourself off about how cool you are for mass-raiding rose and getting slaughtered pointlessly or whatever. The idea any of you are "risk-takers" is laughable to me, but then I go risking permaban to fight the hegemons while you cry on forums and smack around people who had no chance to please yourself. Look, just, next time you're gonna reap the extenuating consequences I got told would make considering most of my ideas too dangerous, maybe at least have the decency to actually be half as cool and dangerous as one of the more mild ones? At least id feel like you were trying. This weird virtue signaling is getting old, and it's telling that the most interesting thing to happen in 2 years isn't one of your stupid "lul totally dynamic fun wars" but is an announcement by two spheres saying they're not fighting. All those threads about wars being boring and meaningless have been totally vindicated because the last time there was nearly 20 pages of discussion on anything was pre NPOLT days.
  9. It has more to do with you being as good at reading a graph as Deulos is at making coherent, intelligent speech. I'm sure you know how good Deulos is at that. The graph shows how much money has been spent compared to: Total Number of Cities, Average City, and Members. 6 months how convenient, that's when I, the current econ, showed up. ASM was around...? 500? High 400s? I think on the onshore at that time. Had about 22 members or so, 25 including the offshore. Then a war happened, rebuild, and, at that point I pushed for recruitment to be opened (total membership is now 35 instead of 25, a success so far, and why the average city went down) and started an actual growth program as ASM had neither had one or a proper econ head in about 18 months. Well, that was like... 2.5 months ago? The plan I made was supposed to start ending after 3 and it's got about, after tomorrow, 2 weeks left before it's end phase kicks in, which is with the upper tier push ending and those resources pushed downward to up their build speed. The 20s are now a 22 bar going to 25, the 25s are hitting their mark of 27, and the 30s are almost done hitting 32. I suppose I'll have go now to inform Callisto that apparently T$ and Rose are bad alliances, as she came to my DMs last week as April rolled in to congratulate me for beating the entire sphere in average member growth rate. My condolences for tainting then both with my mediocrity. As for why the money spent is so low? Almost everybody here had UP/AUP when I showed up. What's the average per member? Hard to see in my phone, it's like 600m right? 186 for c21, 517 for a 26, just over 1b for a 31. Don't forget the building of the noobs from 10 towards 20 being cheap as chips, and congratulations I've solved the case of "how can number be not big, and also not bad?" It's because there's less of us at lower city courts with huge discounts applied. Well the graph says 721 for on and offshore now and 190 built which means a starting point of 531 total. That's a 35% increase. For comparison Cata, whose always been recruiting, has enjoyed 22%. Rose has enjoyed 27%, TKR 24%, infact you'll have to tap Bourbon Street (1300 to 1800ish) with a 41% rate to comfortably sit my ass down. Tl;Dr git gud, learn to read a graph maybe, and I'll keep trying to catch you pops. Looks like it can be done if I match the endurance.
  10. @Arawralook! TKR has been inspired by you!
  11. Time to make a certain romanboo mad. Celts > Romans
  12. It is, and it's a doing a hell of a number bolstering their comedy routine. Mans trying way too hard to be taken seriously while getting help to roll Fark lol. Cmon, we all know half of them would've never woken up anyway and went back to bed after a quick shot.
  13. Drop 3, 4 and 5. I have stated this many, many times, but there was already a solution to this problem TWO YEARS AGO with broad community support and tested on the test server. Stop trying to reinvent the damned wheel. All wars and in beige and inactive wars cancel automatically deletes beige cycling as a problem. It'll still be theorhetically possible in select circumstances but that's about it. Congratulations, I just made your wars more fluid and dynamic, while not eliminating the need for skill or coordination or for proper warchest planning. You'll need both because high intensity combat will last longer and the battlefield will shift far more often. As opposed to this incredibly over baked "Dev Team" variant that has BRILLIANTLY figured out how reinvent PONG of all things in a text based game where hundreds of people are both the ball and the paddles. Dunno bout you, but I don't find pong very fun.
  14. Actually the problem was more that everyone did listen to him, but he wanted them to do the thing that resulted in a wipeout faster than syndi sold military even harder next time. Mad cause bad.
  15. Damn everybody above me in this are or were long time raiders. I guess some of the farmers actually know how to *use* their pitchforks.
  16. Well, thanks for letting the rest of us know how much attention you've been paying for the past couple years. Great wars at this point are sphere vs sphere. Of course, these are also the only wars that really happen anymore that isn't Camelot trying to bully micros or something. There have been, I think, 3? Maybe 4? Examples in the past couple years of Great Wars that actually lasted the previous-to-this-era average of 3.5-4 weeks. Every other war that's occured has been shorter. Hell the one against Oasis when they signed another sphere and got hit by two other spheres for it, barely lasted a week. This first war of this era was 10 days long and held the record for shortest GW ever, until that aforementioned week long wrist slap. The terms for the overwhelming majority of these regardless of length have been someone admits defeat and that's about it. We don't even get terms resulting in funny forum meme posts anymore. They just don't happen.
  17. "I don't care anymore" is not the defense you folks are propping it up to be. Its amazing to say it makes the argument presented in the OP stronger because, despite agreeing with it, there isn't one here. I only know what it's talk about because I've held this opinion for a looooooong time before it recently became popular, and so I've kept up with the other topics. I mean hell half of the posts are random strawmen nobody mentioned. To be fair, again, it's not like much of anything specific was mentioned. Some fault lies with the messenger when he leaves it so open ended. I agree though, that point is important, but I think my reason for why it's important is different from yours. I think it's important because it exemplifies to me, the exact problem. Here you are, despite not caring anymore. That's fine, your perojative and all, but with that being the case - kindly consider - MOVE !@#$, GET OUT THE WAY. Don't make me gravedig that old meme from YouTube. Infact I'd even argue that trauma and lack of care is exactly why this problem exists at all. So give it to people who aren't. After all, you don't really care much anymore, your own words. What's there's to lose, or be concerned over? Only people I've seen really defending this are either those who no longer care, supposedly, but for some reason have become ressurected zombies blocking the road - or - they are the direct primary beneficiary from the boring, stale status quo. There's two things you learn in Anarchy school. The first thing is that a good story requires tension and stakes, otherwise it's dry filler nonsense. The second, is to never, ever, trust old geezers in closed off rooms benefitting from a status quo. Just don't do it.
  18. I resent this multipolarity one in particular. My (completely unrealistic and likely never achievable in any reality) dream has always been the death of treaties entirely. At absolute maximum would be temporary, basically word of mouth agreements. No paper at all. And you little heccin 2 way axis there's doesn't have a place for a treaty anarchist except off the axis 😛
  19. Kev, Hun, if all you've got is strawmen maybe you should stay home. Hit them all you want, but this bit of doing it and then acting like you're hot shit because you're winning outnumbered against people who have barely tried for years now, is old. Its old, and it's getting kind of pathetic. You can amuse yourself without being the poster child of r/iamveryvadass. Edit: and I should note: "it's a fair fight on paper!" Sure as long as you ignore tiering and militarization. Last I checked though HW got told they were dog piling rose because was out tiered and out militarized and got steamrollered. Sure, in theory, it should've been a fair fight, but in reality, it wasn't - and neither is this. Enough with the petty obsfuscation. Wars can be on an unfair field by more factors than just member count and treaties. GNR is the perfect example, and unlike this, was actually rather impressive.
  20. It amazes me people still make this argument after years of, these same people, talking about how crap Fark and WTF are. Nothing's changed with them, and you know that. Quit playing this up for something this isn't. You were bored and wanted some seals to club while patting yourself on the back about how good you are because of it. You want accolades, do something actually surprising and impressive for once, this bit has really gotten old.
  21. It's okay, I'm awake now, and that means I'll keep having barely-tethered-to-reality delusions of grandeur again. That's how my micro days I were, I see people talking about it down there, it was fun down there. You can ask aiya, she's the only one whose really around publicly that'll remember, it was kinda a monster of the week sort of thing? Except, we were the monsters! And everyone else was wondering whose village we were going to sack! No really though, we ended up militarizing and blitzing some micro on an average of probably once every 10 days or so. I had this weird idea in my head that by "proving my superiority" I could get them to merge? I had alot of trouble recruiting for a while on account of not having a bot, made sense to me. Didn't work. Not even once. What it did do was kill approximately 18 micros up until we entered NPOLT (after being couped and robbed, and funded WC by rose lol), blitzing Order of the Fallen Angels that was bloated to like 4x our score and 5x the member count, and.... Did what we did to micros, slaughtered them. After kill 19, just like that, basically every random micro, merge of micros, and new ones I'd not even had the opportunity to fight but had a gov or two who had fought me and heard about the past from their allies formed their own little horde coalition to join IQs side! Just to attack me, they had no horse in the race with anyone else. And.... Bless their hearts, but even nearly 200 vs 25 they still didn't succeed. They hadn't quite figured out war mechanics yet so I played defensive and used down declares to break up the blitzes until BK showed up. Own little micro version of Karma going on, except unlike the CN karma they weren't winning, lol. But see all of that, was great fun, it was just constant chaos and changing landscape. Mind you NPOLT began in like what, June? And I started trying to be Queen of the Micros on my birthday, December 17, 2018. Was barely 6-7 months, of nothing but me and for some god forsaken reason 25 or so idiots, most of whom I actually recruited and had to train, that still followed me for reasons we'll never know, just parading around the countryside razing villages like angry vikings for a totally ridiculous quest that was never going to happen. Anyone reading this is ever bored and wants to quit, delete your nation and reroll into a micro. It'll be total chaos, but thats the fun part. With a different world and a different timeline, it really could've been a micro karma war. Someone bored in a macro who hated me or just wanted to see chaos could've helped them build a coalition and draw up their CB with the excessive evidence they had, and handle the eventual leak that would result in a fully militarized confrontation. I could see an alternate reality mhearl or a this reality Abbas going "weeelllllll you kinda made your bed here". And then if it made its way to the forums? Dinner and a show for everyone! Be too busy laughing to tell everyone to disband.
  22. Mood, ADHD is shit. I think that certainly works for BK, and maybe some other alliances. But others, like your second mention, not so much. I mean let's not sugar coat it guys, c'mon, when's the last time anyone took ASM as a serious political entity? Unless your Alliance section on your nation says "Rose" the answer probably ranges from years to never. And like we're well aware of that, we're well aware that until recently the alliance had been slowly atrophying in membership and city growth. A fact that only changed... *Checks watch* 6? 8? Weeks ago. Whenever the war ended and Sakura returned to yelling at people that she wanted recruitment on again and also can someone make a sheet for her by these vague directions and vision she has for it. Hell, that last war went kinda crap for us but it was way better than GnR and that was with the milcom still half asleep at the wheel, before being thoroughly disciplined by... The milcom, of course I'm just saying, if the brightest days you have ahead are because a schizophrenic started yelling about things and celebrating that they learned to color the cells on a sheet recently, and who delivered the best recent war result while half asleep and barely trying, it might be a *tad* difficult to go publicly strutting FA legs, yanno? Hard to move your weight when you've been starving to death. Takes time to heal that stuff too, it's been going on for years, and we've only just begun so, a moment please! Blitz someone other than rose for once everyone 😛
  23. Reminder @Borgthat Mods as a Weapon is against the rules, so do report it if you've actual evidence of that threat.
  24. Counter with what? Hopes and prayers? That's about all they've got that's in range.
  25. Smoking up way too much of that Copium, bro.
