DoW Fir vs the World (The Soup was a Lie)
Leftbehind replied to Firwof Kromwell's topic in Orbis Central
Ah, community drama that most of us on that list would have no idea about or happened so long ago that it would never be remembered. Look, I'm going to break some news to you but if Kev or many of us ran the game you would have thunderdome, toilet joke bloc names, wars of incompetence that would make the French proud. You think we are this tight knit group but the reality is we aren't. Why are you focusing on us when you have alliances throughout the whole game ran by the same rotation of people time after time. Look at TKR, Eclipse, EVH, Spectre and so on, are you going to give them grief as well or is this just because a long time ago someone was mean to you? Go down your list and tell me how many of us are still active at a high level? Not many. Even I'm cycling in and out of the game as I enjoy the weather. Now, if you want to claim that we are just toxic people or have committed some grave injustice to you than allow me to explain something. I'll defend my friends and my ideas. I am blunt, sarcastic and loves to play the role of pot stirrer. For the most part, I ignore you because you are dull and crude. So take this advice, if you want to be taken seriously, act seriously. -

Official Position of Sword Cats on NAPs
Leftbehind replied to Leftbehind's topic in Alliance Affairs
Correct. It doesn't but everyone complains that no one uses the forums so here we are. -
Official Position of the Sword Cats It has come to our attention that apparently someone decided to walk away from a NAP, make a bunch of claims about Rose doing things, than take a wrong turn on their way to war the alliance they made claims about in the first place but luckily enough they were able to find plunder in TFP. This started a whole mess of a conversation about what people should do when these situations arise. Conversation that deeply offended us Cats as we love our nap. We love a good nap so much I went and had one right after hearing about one being broken. Look, it's not cool to wake someone up from a nap. They are great! A good way to recharge after a hard day. In fact, 4 out of 5 Eclipsians suggests healthy nap cycles allows them to maintain focus and get them city gains in the process. So with that it is our position that breaking NAPs aren't cool but it's not our place to enforce them if we are not directly involved in it. What Epi done was wrong, we feel for TFP and offer our condolences to the thousands of pixel lives lost in the conflict. It is our worry that we would be setting an unhealthy precedent by having groups of alliances with no affiliations acting as world police against CAM but wouldn't likely do it to another. I'm not saying Epi doesn't deserve it, he does but the obligation to enforce a NAP is with the alliances who signed it. If the alliances who signed the NAP are not willing to enforce it than the NAP should never have been signed in the first place. Further clarity on our stance on NAP breaking. When a NAP is signed at the end of a war it is a blanket, that means everyone has a NAP with each other, if one alliance attacks another even if they were on the same side it's a NAP violation between that alliance and the rest of the signatories. It's simple and easy to understand hence why that's our stance. We also understand that NAPs will get broken, they are a treaty afterall, so we will reserve our right to decide on our own if it was justified or not at the time of break as a one size fits all approach is a foolish way to do anything. Now, this is Epi, if you all want to blow up the game because Epi pulled an Epi than by all means. Just don't expect us to do the same. This has been an Official Position of the Sword Cats now it's back to our nappin’. Also, I'm not formating this because I don't care and the only reason I'm posting this is because masta Sketchy told us to use forums. See masta, Lefty good, masta sir. Lefty betta tha Kan masta.

And what are the rest if us supposed to do? How dare you even suggest taking our limited amount of entertainment away. In all seriousness this has been some of the best back and forth ive seen in awhile. Roberts is proud of you and I know that is what truly matters.
-
Dude... if you want to ask Roberts out on a date just do it already. If you are shy I'll happily send him the do you like me note for you.

I struggle with saying Singletary is only a year old when the community has existed for so long but you all are a long ways from my days there and that's for the better. The amount of work you have put in to make this community is incredible and something to be proud of in a game like this. I look forward to seeing if Tartarus can beat Keegoz's win streak record.

Look at @Sweeeeet Ronny D with a post longer than the pop up books that most of us players in this game can read. Next time add pictures or at least leave a box of crayons for us. The green ones taste the best FYI.

TI's performance isn't due to being a failure of an alliance but a difference in the idea of what kind of alliance they want to be. In my honest opinion TI was built to be a community first and an alliance second. That is completely acceptable but it does come with drawbacks and that's what we are witnessing. TI believes I'm a hater and has even complained to my government about how "Lefty is just a hater" but in all honesty, I don't hate TI. The alliance is full of great individuals who made my limited time very enjoyable while I was there. I just wanted to see certain people take the alliance more seriously because the potential of the alliance is so high that members enjoyment would go up and they could take their rightful place as a game shaker by doing so. LT is a fantastic leader that will never get the credit he deserves but he is just one man. He can't manhandle an alliance that size and still touch grass so cut him some slack. As much as you all want to throw this "failure" at his feet it would be foolishness as you have no idea of the work he has put in.

Can confirm that Base was attempting to poach me. Unbelievable really, imagine trying to poach someone from such a respectful alliance.
