Shout out to Noctis for spurring on this change by being a prolific downvoter of others post while complaining that he had negative rep and taking it so seriously that he made a new forum account just to change the numbers and beg for the community to lose a feature of these boards. Don't bother quote responding because I still have both your accounts blocked. In all seriousness, this change needlessly limits interaction on the board and will do literally nothing to toxicity levels. Might even increase them as people seek other outlets.

Could you make it so Haha reacts are neutral instead of positive then? I feel like the desired effect could have been reached by just making a rep of 0 be the floor instead of removing downvotes.

Valyria signed Oblivion, then told Oblivion to drop Rose because Rose sucks and they were going to build a new sphere and probably roll Rose. So we talked to Mensa about preempting, and in the interim BK rolled them because of, raids I think? They actually pissed off a lot of people in a short time frame and we were like, the third group to roll them in under 6 weeks. TEst being the first. The moral of the story is, don't plot against an alliance with their long-term protectorate unless you're REALLY sure of yourself.

Simple. In game politics always takes precedent over out of game, even if those out of game politics are literally promoting violence against groups based on inborn traits. Same holds true for despicable personal acts. If you can meme or log dump, or have 20+ nations in the right range, you can get away with a lot, thanks to short memories. The list of alliances that raised a stink and also put their asses on the line to back it up is limited to TRF (RIP), Kosmo's Fark (RIP), and TKR. Unless I missed something during my 9 month hiatus.

Since my new role in game is apparently "Context Bot", I want to say something for the umpteenth time. Freedom of speech strictly refers to freedom from government interference in your ability to participate in public spaces. It has absolutely no bearing on a private forum owned by and operated by a LLC. There is nothing comparable between any game action and any real life action by a government. If you object to potential restrictions being place on someone's ability to participate in these forums, and those restrictions aren't being placed by Alex or his employees/agents, feel free to object to them, but your objections should reflect the reality of the situation.
