  1. Well said. We're each entitled to our opinions. I'd say that we've actually not done that much damage to TFP as have been done in most wars. Pretty much this.
  2. I can only imagine they'll say that "well, they attacked us!" as a reason to demand anything more than white peace. I'm with you Rook. Differences aren't really all that large. In the past, typically it's been reps to end a war early or go a few extra rounds and end with a white peace + handful of humiliation items, regardless of whomever is the aggressor. Every war's a little different, same with every peace deal that ends up being reached.
  3. We are not demanding they surrender their sovereignty. Maybe a bit of good natured humor that would have cost them nothing other than a few eyerolls for a month. If it were me, I'd have immediately put my big boy pants on and accepted a silly flag to save hundreds of millions, if not billions in damage that's been done to TFP. We've even gone so far as to offer training instructors to them for future military conflicts and have been rebuffed at every turn. If we had wanted them to surrender their sovereignty, we would have demanded reps (for the nukes that were used), tribute (on a weekly/monthly basis), a NAP, a limitation on arms they could have, and any other number of items that would ACTUALLY affect how their gameplay is done. As it is, we've offered very easy terms. Ones that we'd think anyone would be more than happy to agree to. If they want to continue to "fight", great. We're happy to utilize whatever means are available at our disposal. If they want peace, all they really need to do is talk to us, propose something that would be mutually acceptable, and we'd be on our merry way. This filth you keep spilling about how we're doing things to impinge on their ability to actually play the game is ridiculous and we're all dumber for having had to read it. I award you no points and may god have mercy on your soul.
  4. Can't learn from people that are dead.
  5. *sits up startled and wipes the drool from his mouth* There's still a war on?!
  6. Ole, how in the WORLD am I supposed to keep my spy kill counts climbing if they aren't allowed to have any spies? Rude as always. On a related note: MAIM, KILL, DESTROY!
  7. It was like reading War and Peace and now I want to kill myself. If peace between BK and everyone is what it takes, please, for the love of all the texts, please stop the madness so that we don't have Partisan writing more walls!
  8. Completely accurate guide. Doing these basic things will result in a vast improvement among any alliance out there. The hardest parts are making sure people are doing what you suggest (warchests, correct builds, yada yada yada), keeping people engaged (which is surprisingly hard to do other than to create drama), and the actual politics of the game. Good post. Hoping this is read by the greater Orbis community. Ole, shame on you. Khorne accepts all into his throne or goblet. Whether he considers you worthy of his praise...well, that only depends if you git gud. Niiiiice.
  9. BURN THE WORLD! Seriously though, I can't believe this is still going on. Is there anything left to burn?
  10. I think that this about sums it up for us: They never understand us, not truly, and understand even less with each passing second. They doubt. They think we have lost our way. We see it in their hearts - the pettiness, the pride, the seeds of ruin driving them on, feeding our tempest. With such creatures must we remake the future! 0/7 on ability to understand why we do what we do.
  11. Man, the trolling level on this thread is awesome. Need bigger lines give the whales we're catching.
  12. Aren't all Alliances under TEst's protection?
  13. Good way to bolster your spy force if you've been hit and manage to capture people. I like it!
  14. Woah woah woah. Pump your brakes there kiddo. A prerequisite for being a member of TEst is to be at least a certified A-hole. You're just not seeing the crap we're saying about you in our chat channels about your level of amentia. If you'd like, we can bring more of it out here than has already been said. There isn't a single normal person in TEst. All demented farkwits I tell you. Yes Dorgam. I would expect someone with 1000+ infrastructure per city to be capable of fielding a full military (excepting ships of course). Boohoo, if you're making 100k a day, you probably are still able to replenish if you've got some reserves as part of your warchest. I've done it several times in my time in other alliances. The sort of reason you're specifically talking about is what you should have a warchest. Oh. I'm sure Mensa would LOVE to share Dioism with you in the form of planes, tanks and missionaries.
  15. I guess I have to second Thalmor's people. I was polite (as my target nation was very polite) and beiged him. If war is what they want, I guess it's war they'll get.
  16. Whale Hunt Old Geezer Retirement Party 2016 continues! Congrats!
  17. GG Arrrgh & TKR. Might as well pack it in and give up.
  18. Well, not really a myth. You do start with 250 tons (I know because my cousin just started playing). 250 food should last you 5 days with one city at 500 infrastructure (about 54 tons per day consumed for 500 infra), assuming you don't buy any on the market or join an alliance that can be a patron to you until the nuclear apocalpyse ends. My point is not to argue the numbers on how long a new nation could go, but to state that someone has time to find an alliance and to get a quick infusion of food.
  19. You start with 250 food, more than enough to get you through the start up period and into an alliance that can spare a few tons. Let's be honest, if you join an alliance that can't afford to give a few dozen tons of food every few days, you have bigger issues.
  20. I like the idea and am willing to assist when RL calms down a bit. Got a little work to do on the coordination and or creation of these sub alliances. Will there be common alliance banks that they can draw on in order to distribute war resources (not real alliances, the participant alliances) or does everyone need to come with their own warchest?
  21. 0/10 would read again if for no other reason than spelling, grammar, and formatting problems. 1/10 would read again due to it being a poor idea. Guys, it's been only a week since the nuclear Armageddon started and food production is coming back online. Color me jaded, but maybe people should keep reasonable stockpiles of food rather than complaining that food production took a holiday for a week. If we were in week 3 or 4 of 0 food production, then ok, I guess I'd say its reasonable to look for some sort of treaty. Besides, this treaty does nothing to halt the issue of 0 food production which is a direct result of alliance wide warfare.
  22. Fair enough. I can respect that. Everyone should hate on Sheepy.
