The entire point is to have more political players, not drones. Man. Critters would be so happy that the one single time I lost my cool on someone is now public record. Charles is not a deserter. Roy invited him to leave, and he did. Given the way dialogue had been between him and gov, it was probably the sensible thing for both sides. I'm happy with about 10% of how he conducted himself in the leadup to leaving (and yeah, I made some mistakes there too), but he's absolutely not a coward.

I think a fairly casual review of Placentica's posts on this forum would show him as anything but gracious towards us, but rather a mixture of avoidant and sarcastic (his posts on this thread were quite sarcastic, for the reasons others have stated). Although perhaps it is easier to see for me, because it's the same general tone he's taken on our forums and in private conversations.

Post quality must be inversely proportional to length of thread! UPN would like you to believe they don't eat babies, but they've never gone on the record saying they don't. Maybe they're too busy eating babies.

This is entirely false. Like, to the point of being utterly backwards. I've been pretty active on UPN's boards. They went quiet after a while. I just ducked back and Tim/Parti picked it up, more quiet from UPN's side. We had a fairly productive conversation going on our own boards, but again, it petered out. That has very little to do with us... believe me, our members love talking FA. Gov-gov conversation has in no way been limited to the leadup to this war. I am not sure if you are uninformed or a liar, but you're very far off base. Edit: you were right about the paranoia. I'll give you that one.
