  1. Hopefully Vanguard will be on our side next time Impressed by their attitude and fighting skills so far.
  2. What can you say, some people are just like that. In any game you get people who will stoop to personal attacks at any opportunity, because that's how they roll. Mensa has a fair share of people who are dicks, as does any group. What you need is for alliance leaders to actually punish members who break the convention- instead of just apologising or ignoring it. Unfortunately I can't see that happening. Once someone (no names mentioned) is already thought of by 90% of the game as a bit of a tool, they've got nothing to lose from continuing to behave that way in terms of "damage to their rep".
  3. I always used my real name in these games, this is a break from the norm for me. Cos I don't give a shit.
  4. Yeh we got really offended at the poor quality of ads from Rose. I wish we had a 7 year old with MSPaint so we could respond.
  5. If we're fighting you, it's cos we think you're badass Respect o7
  6. I think Khilafah is a repressed homosexual. Where in the UK you from? Been taking lessons from old hook hands have you?
  7. What we should do is crucify murderers and rapists in public squares. That would deter other people from committing crimes. Maybe for minor crimes we can just crucify people a little before un-nailing them. I'd also like to point out that both men and women should wear modest clothing as a rape prevention target, and so hazmat suits should be mandatory for everyone. I'd also suggest that we all have those little things teletubbies have on their heads surgically grafted on. It would be impossible to rape someone with that waving around in your face.
  8. Sheepy can join. He can be director of raptor security
  9. What Wayne said. Plenty of shit hole countries have large actual militias, not inbreds who shoot at signs, and it doesn't do much good in war. Iraq for example. Anyway nobody invaded the USA because there would be no point and like Wayne said, even if you won the war who would have the manpower? It would be pointless.
  10. It's more a case of thinking who doesn't like us and wastes a lot of money on things. It's a short list.

I didn't say morality is objective therefore your whole argument is irrelevant
  12. I think all women should walk round with Hazmat suits as a modern day chastity belt. Anyone attempting to rape them would get nothing but squeaky rubber sounds and skin irritation. In addition whenever men and women need to discuss things (for example what to have for dinner as obviously women won't be in the workplace) they should do so through some sort of tanoy system so men don't suddenly start raping their Hazmat suited forms. Finally if a man does manage to tear his way through a Hazmat suit and rape a woman, holy prophet of DIO forbid, then the man should be tied to horses and dragged nine times round the walls of jericho as punishment, and his battered corpse fed to unholy pigs. Of course the woman would be burned with her defiled Hazmat suit and buried with the salty tears of her family.
  13. Although I'm pro-choice, less than 1% of abortions in America are for reasons of rape or incest so stop bringing that up, it's a weak argument.
  14. I see your Islam and raise you one DIO BRANDO GOD EMPEROR.
  15. Meh, abortion should be safe, legal and rare as the maxim goes. I'm not a woman so it's not a decision I'll ever have to make, but I wouldn't force anyone to conform to my beliefs on the matter anyway.
  16. You cut me deep Mr Chicken
  17. All glory to DIO! I think CG has been replaced by a spambot.
  18. I don't have any ads or anything, maybe cos I have the paid version? In any case I'd love to see a tapatalk version so I can keep all my forums together.
  19. Hate to post this stupid picture but sometimes it's damned relevant. If you get mad because someone "insults the military" or "insults your religious beliefs" or "insults your politics" then debate with them, don't just whine that you're offended and demand they're banned. If they insulted you personally based on your race, sexuality or gender that's different. But basically they said something that disagrees with your politics. Maybe someone on this forum lost their whole family when American bombs hit their house in Vietnam or Iraq and they hate the entire US military and think they're a bunch of murdering scum. You going to ban them too for disagreeing with you? Grow up.
  20. Also known as the "who does mensa like best?" poll
  21. Yeh and the Jewish creation myth, like all creation myths, was based on the very limited understanding of people who were basically at the banging rocks together level of technology. It was then passed down orally for a hundred generations before it was finally written down. It's not a factual story. Genesis is actually probably an amalgamation of old Jewish stories with a moral lesson, kind of like Aesop's fables. I don't "believe" these stories to be "true" - in other words factual. But that doesn't mean they don't have value. The stories of the tree of knowledge and Cain&Abel are as much part of the moral and philosophical backdrop to Western civilisation as Pandoras Box or the Illiad. In other words, creationism is stupid. Catholic Priest-Scientists have done more to advance scientific knowledge than most people are even vaguely aware of. Creation stories are important moral stories and are even quasi historical in some cases but they aren't meant to be taken as fact as they are the result of a much more primitive society attempting to interpret creation through a weak understanding of reality. No doubt our descendents will laugh at our own understanding of physics in the same way.

The fact that good and evil are social constructs (they're not, they're moral imperatives which is different but whatever) is irrelevant. Good and evil exist as tangibly as anything else and effect not only our whole society but the physical world we live in. Dismissing them on the basis that their definition is intellectual not empirical is silly. @BB belief or non belief in anything which is non-tangible is fundamentally an issue of experience. A fair comparison which far more people can relate to perhaps is love. Most people believe it exists sure, and many don't believe in a deity. But the point is that until you've experienced love, your belief in it is second hand. And for clarity I mean romantic love. With all these non-tangible, non-measurable things there's an argument from proof (which is borderline impossible) and then an argument from logic. In other words to say things like "there's no evidence for the flood or noah so the bible is therefore bullshit". This Ofc has problems of its own. Anyway just because a lot of religious people are idiots, it doesn't undermine religion. Plenty of atheists are uninformed idiots too.
