We report to you live from the first ever democratic election day in Mbandaka of the Democratic Republic of Congo, where Charming Friend’s HQ is situated. Citizens visiting from the different member states were celebrating as the astounding voting participation numbers of a whooping 82% were announced.

Here with us we have one of the people who came out and voted today, hello Tom!

Tom: Hi!

What do you feel about the election?

Tom: I think the election was the best thing to happen since Justin Timberlake bought Myspace!

Were you surprised about any results?

Tom: To be honest, I'm surprised my resolution condemning Facebook didn't come to the floor for a vote. It's something the users of Myspace have been fighting for for years, but our efforts will continue. Other than that, I am proud that our charming and friendly community was able to come together to strengthen our alliance.

Do you have any words for the people who didn't vote?

Tom: I'm taking them out of my Top 8.

Thank you, Tom! Now over to you, Susanne!

I’m standing here next to the adored and loved doot & voot skeleton that each votee thank after voting . 098af75a3b.jpg

One very controversial proposal that was voted on today was proposition #5, the so called “Charming Slimer Day†proposition, that aimed to make November 24th the International Charming Slimer Day. It was passed with a shocking 93%. There’s reports that the people who voted against this proposition will not be invited to Slimer’s birthday party this weekend.

But for the rest of the people they are smiling and the sun is shining, over to you Dani-

Mel Gibson: This election was shiet!

Excuse me sir, you can’t barge in like thi-

Mel Gibson: This is the worst election by the worst alliance in the world.

Uh… Why? Most experts say it’s been a fantastic election, what’s to be disatisfied about?

Mel Gibson: The election organizers were incompetent!

There’s without a doubt been such high participation rates that it’s almost impossible to see it as anything but a success, what makes you say that?

Mel Gibson: !@#$ do I know, I don’t even know what’s going on here anymore...

Then why are you here, don’t you have anything better to do?

Mel Gibson: I’m just really lonley...[muffled soft sobbing]

So... What is this announcing exactly?

That democracy is great and that we've voted in some amazing things. Next question?

We held elections for the first time. Charming Friends is now a democratic socialist alliance.

You just can't say no to Bernie's puppy eyes. Another libertarian utopia, wrecked.

Congratulations! I still don't get the socialist part though... Are you Socialists, Democratic Socialists or Social Democrats?

Congrats, but...

what did actually change (in Gov) ?

Or is it like an announcement, that in the future things will change, because now there are elections instead of appointments?

We've had some elections on how we operate on a more general level and how/what we vote people in to government, so it's a bit of both. Most of it won't be noticed immediately but we thought we'd share the joy of democracy with the rest of Orbis.

Most of the motions were regarding internal affairs and operations and as such we probably won't be sharing the details with the world, but as we've said, it's all about the joy of democracy.

There were not government elections this time. However, we passed legislation to hold these specific types of elections every other month. We also will have government leaders in specific roles (for example, foreign affairs).

So, yes, our government structure and process is changing.

Once again, Charming Friends proves to be the most immature alliance in Orbis.

Dammit I thought I had that in the bag too....!@#$!

Edit: Congrats on being able to vote and stuff. o/
