Whether it's for a pseudo-religion or a RL established religion, I'd surely listen/read. Even if I don't follow the faith, I can almost always take a decent message from it, if it's a good sermon.

Is Buddhism really a religion?  Reads more like a life guide to me.  Most practicing Buddhists I know practice other religions and apply Buddhism's tenets to their everyday lives without conflict with their other religion.

There are sermons. I've been to quite a few at the temple. It's basically the same as any other religion - don't be a dick.
