  1. @Alex, following the deletion of billions of dollars worth of commodity products at the end of Dial Up, the addition of the rather expensive CP, ACP and space projects, and the end of beige taxation at an alliance level, global supplies of almost all raw resources are at historic lows and still on the decline. Perhaps you might be willing to consider adding some inexpensive projects to increase mining production capabilities on par with what is available the refining side? It would certainly help the newer players to get a better foothold in the game. It would also help to bring the market back into some sort of relative balance. I’m curious what others think about this?
  2. Indeed. Based on the reactions you’d think we just formed a whale sphere gunning for top spot. Break it down to a nation level and it’s actually just a group mid tier alliances who fought an 8 month global that none of us started and received very little support during. I’ve long said that dial up was 2 distinct wars. The upper tier time out war. And then, there were the rest of us who were cycled for months with no support whatsoever. Now we support each other. As far as I’m concerned, I’m protecting my right to grow my nation.
  3. Pixel huggers. Haha. He acts like TFP didn’t just fight Dial Up from start to finish too. Whatever. It’s not like anyone living in The Swamp are the ones who start crap in the game or steal micro alliance banks like some others commenting on this thread.
  4. Oh, we tried. Several times, in fact. Other side wouldn’t have it. And when the tables were turned against B, Coalition A took the high road and white peaced with everyone instead of smashing some of their bankrupt alliances. I think that’s worthy of everyone keeping in mind. I don’t want to see another dial up type of war while I’m in this game. It was bad on so many different levels it’s not even funny.
  5. I vote for more war. I never did get my access to manwa. When does Roq get to come back?
  6. @Alex I just experienced a trade irregularity I have no explanation for that cost me $1.8 million on the sale. This is my nation link. https://politicsandwar.com/nation/id=160467 I had an offer out to sell 8000 lead at $2818 ppu. That offer is still on the trade board. What actually sold was 3000 lead at $2220 ppu. I did not make any such offer at that price. My 8000 unit sale offer is still up and no units have been deducted from it I did not have any “buy” offers out on the table, nor were any buy offers out there at this price that I could have even accidentally sold to someone else at. The entire buy market is well over $200 per unit higher than my mysterious sale price. I’m confident that this didn’t occur on my end. I’ll post the buy market screen shot as a reply. 3 screens exceed the allowed file size. This is the current buy market
  7. Coalition A just came back from the ashes of hell to win the longest and most expensive war in P&W history. The #1 and #2 alliances in the game mass deleted....and the Pantheon civil war gets airtime? For God’s sake. ??‍♂️ This game ?
  8. I think I’m going to buy more credits. This is worth supporting. This is the type of proactive moderation of the game we’ve all been asking for.
  9. Well fought and much respect. Enjoy your peace.
  10. Heck, I messaged Alex and committed myself to purchasing 10 credits tonight. He got this one right, just took way too long to get it done. For the record, we already had 69% of GPWC on gray just from working the bottom up on the slave nations using new nations we were bringing into our alliance. It took a long time, but so did the unnecessary length of the war. Unconditional surrender on the first of the month only indeed. Fitting end.
  11. Well.....That might cramp the IQ war effort a little bit there, eh? ?
  12. Well being that none of the goons can respond by edict, could somebody kindly explain what happened?
  13. Haha. Post is 1/2 tongue in cheek, 1/2 reflecting reality. I find this war to be both comical and tragic at the same time. Any rational adult should be able to step back at this point and say....wait, it’s been 229 days....

    Adolf Hitler?

https://politicsandwar.com/nation/id=191396 This is repugnant. Leader name Adolph Hitler. Nation writeup says it all.
  15. People who use Bill Murray memes are usually the most serious. But with that comment, I have to assume you are in IQ or have ties. It’s been 2/3 of a year. Neither side has defeated the other. Who needs the reality check here?
  16. I’ve thought about that. At the same time, I’d also like to have a Friday or Saturday night where I can hang with my gf without worrying about getting my day change attacks in. This one is a stalemate. Time to put a fork in it and go back to trash talking each other on the forums like days of old.
  17. Yup. It’s day 229 of Dialup. Attack, defend. Flash, burn. Decommission, loot. Break blockade. Deposit. Manufacture. Time out. Attack, defend. Flash, burn. Decommission, loot. Break blockade. Deposit. Manufacture. Time out. Attack, defend. Flash, burn. Decommission, loot. Break blockade. Deposit. Manufacture. Time out. How’re those peace talks progressing?
  18. I’ve actually messaged with Alex about this very thing, except I discussed it with naval. Ships are a very expensive investment. They also have anti-aircraft guns in real life. Why aren’t they allowed to target anything aside from other ships while delivering often meaningless infra damage? Once built, they are just sitting ducks once your air is destroyed. I do like the ground ideas you have here, especially the last one. Air superiority takes tanks to 1/2 value. Ground control still gives an opponent 67% availability of a plane that takes 6-7 days for a nation to build to max. Issue I see is that soldiers are essentially free Planes cost a substantial amount How about subsequent ground rolls reducing plane availability at an increasing rate after each subsequent roll? Destroy them, render them useless, doesn’t matter.
  19. I suggested this months ago. It’s something I would definitely like to see added to the game. I make aluminum, you make steel. Direct trade of one for the other with the amount the items of you receive back from your trade determined by current market price. It just eliminates steps in the process and makes it easier, especially within an alliance, where you have raw producers and refiners.
  20. George stole Pantheon’s bank. That in and of itself that makes him a thief by definition. Stealing BK’s too? Well, that’s your internal matter to deal with, not mine. And regarding negotiations, my sincere apologies. I must have simply missed the part where they had actually started. My bad. I didn't realize I had become so powerful in this game that I can now singlehandedly keep the longest global war in the game’s history continuing on with mere words alone. I will exercise my newly discovered power more wisely going forward.
  21. They are kind of like ancient Sparta finally defeating Athens after generations of warfare and then not having the ability to govern the democratic city-state once the war was over. ?
  22. What stubbornness are you referring to exactly? I’m fairly confident that one side offered formal surrender, but the other side has continually refused to even give the terms for what, 5-6 weeks now?. What’s been leaked so far can’t be considered as legitimate “terms of surrender” by any standard of measurement in any game that I’ve ever played Air your full terms in public. Let the Orbis community decide how realistic they are if you’re so confident in your position. I really don’t think you have the guts to do so.
  23. Hey Roq, why not address the central points George made about the nonsense of this continuing war? It’s not like anyone here really has any love for him, but most of his points have some merit Your deflecting to his wrongs to IQ is doing nothing more than highlight BK’s own banking ineptitude for the rest of us to see. Handle that matter internally and nobody is going to care one way or the other. Now kindly stick to the initial points, and keep rolling George on the side until his score is low enough where I can hit him too. Might be the only place in this war where we agree.
  24. I would prefer to see soldiers having the ability to fire surface to air and surface to water missiles to target planes and ships. Would also like to see ships having the power to fight off air and troops. (Not project related) In addition I would like to see a defending nation having a shorter (12 or 18) hour rebuild ability. Defending nation is on home land and presumably has shorter supply lines than an attacking one. I would also like to see the scoring adjusted to relate more heavily to military in the battlefield at the time of declaration. As it stands now someone in 1000 range can have 60K troops only and be attacked by 3 smaller city nations with 110k soldiers 1000 tanks, 500 planes and 30-45 ships (each). There’s absolutely no defense under that situation.
