  1. Hello Orbis, Marginal-Micro-Former-Meat-Shield-Co-Leader of The Horsemen here. Just a simple announcement (Full Disclosure, I'm 44% drunk) but unfortunately we will be severing all ties with The New Pacific Order, effective immediately. We have always been a loyal bunch but We were lied to, for whatever reason....and I don't even care to investigate the reason..or explain the reason...as even in our dissolution..The Horsemen will do our best to be loyal....even to an alliance that doesn't deserve it. So NPO, best of luck to you. I'm sure you will find the happiness and Orbis Domination you are looking for but as for The Horsemen, we do what we say we will do and we expect the same from our allies. My responsibility to my guys is number 1. Maintaining an alliance with a group that only sees us as a meat-shield cannot continue. I'm keeping this brief. If I continue to type, vitriol and nonsense will come forth. Also, the average attention span of the modern human is 300 words or less. Ok, full, full disclosure..i'm 74% drunk. -The Dude Oh yeah..we withdraw from this nonsense (war).
  2. I just saw there was an Orbis-wide famine and wanted to give 10% of my food (and resources) to various strangers.
  3. Its..all on fire..beautiful..fire...
  4. Ah yes. So this is the apocalypse my Drunken Grandfather used to ramble on about. Mighty fine. Mighty fine.
  5. I'll expect full NPO-sponsored stat tracking.
  6. An especially long-lived American Cockroach might live 2 years. The average human (worldwide) lives 71 years. So if you break that down I’m 1420 years old in Cockroach years and in those years I have learned at least 9 things that seem to be true. 1. Old men send young men to die for silly and often un-defined reasons. 2. There isn’t much better in life than air-conditioning. 3. If a system can be cheated, it will be cheated on occasion. 4. Nylon-based socks aren’t good for much. 5. Humans are often-times mean creatures and even more mean when they are sheltered by anonymity. 6. The difference between the top of the food chain and the middle is often circumstance. 7. If you tell a man or woman they should be mad about something, they probably will be if you let them pretend to think on it for a while. 8. A volcano can’t be stopped. It will do as it will. 9. Death isn’t the worst thing that can happen to you but it is probably top 10. Now I think at least two (maybe three) of these “truths” apply to this situation.
  7. Excellent. Now i will have thousands of NPO generated stats to peruse. Good times.
  8. I'm no student of history but i'm almost certain this is how the Franco-Prussian war of 1870 began.
  9. Welcome Nuke. I'm sure you will find the forums a friendly place where you can freely express your ideas without judgement from your fellow Orbisian citizens. Shields up!
  10. If i was the creator of this game It would be drawn out on notebook paper and be played only via the United States Postal Service, as i can barely use this keyboard. I think he can do whatever he wants.
  11. I admire your quest but when you reach 999, you should stop...allow the masterpiece to remain unfinished..a final fraggle finger to the gods...
  12. These fellas with an alliance score of approximately 1600 may not have experience, or allies or planes but they have the most important thing: A keen sense of honor And In Orbis, we know that honor will take you places....
  13. We like soup....We wanted a bit for ourselves (in truth it probably was way too hot for us too handle) but we definitely should have tried it. Unfortunately we detected an abundance of spaceology flavored rosehips and knight-infused Spaghetti-Os floating around. You're right though. We should have had some soup, no matter what it tasted like. That's our bad choice. This treaty upgrade is to make it clear that no matter what the soup tastes like from here forward, no matter who is serving it..you're gonna have to serve it to us too.
  14. Admittedly, I'm confused as well. The author of this treaty is a querulous drunk and cannot be counted on for clarity. Also, querulous didn't mean what I thought it did. Oh well, I'm rolling with it.
  15. Yep. We definitely had options.
  16. A long long time ago (almost an eon in Orbisian time) The Horsemen and WTF decided it would be sorta cool if we optionally and occasionally defended one another. Well, in today's Orbis, optional just doesn't seem to cut the mustard as mustard tastes like cold, bitter, yet oddly enjoyable chaos infused soup (mild nuclear aftertaste). So Enough with all the options and such. We need ironclad, mutual, contractually obligating and legally binding shackles of friendship and good will. WTF and Horsemen (The, the is the only thing optional about this treaty.) agree to mutually defend one another from all sorts of pirates, good natured soup slingers with catchy taglines and the occasional top ten alliance, bristling with cash, firepower, ironic nation names and so many planes..so.so many planes. Signed for WTF by me since I'm writing it but I'm sure they agree to it cause they just said it sounded cool And Also signed by me, using my thumbs and Trojan said: "Sorry, I'm mowing and a little drunk but that sounds mighty fine to me." Death tacitly agreed (he's distracted, pitching woo with some uruguayan lady of the night). I forgot to talk to Doctor Famine. Also I'm driving and don't have any pictures available but nevermind that.
  17. Doctor Famine or Ripper or Azaghul Testicula Spicy Boi Republoc of angry germans (To be honest, this one is growing on me.)
  18. Fraggle: Not afraid to play the long game, or short, depending on how you look at it.
  19. I don't particularly think it's ruined or I wouldn't play it.
  20. Ok, i'm getting confused. I thought i had successfully turned this into a (bad) PR campaign for The Horsemen but instead everyone keeps spelling it "horseman". I'm not even sure if there is supposed to be a "The" really. Also Shouldn't a successful war be a sucker punch? Clearly from my war record, I'm no military scientist but it seems somewhat counter-intuitive to announce your intentions to your prospective foe...i don't know....until just a few minutes ago I thought Sun Tzu was just was an all Inclusive resort in the Cayman Islands...lots of people running in slow motion on pristine sandy beaches while the locals serve them drinks and the sun eases gently over the horizon, leading to a tiki-torch- lit night of drunken debauchery.. Turns out Sun Tzu said a bit about war or something...crazy world.
  21. It was an interesting declaration directed toward Fark and WTF as they (Fark and WTF) seemed to only have one small tie to the rest of Orbis through some backwater, no-account, horse-based pseudo alliance, named “Horsemen” or “The Horsemen” …whoever those guys (and I think one lady..maybe) are. Oh, that's us. The Declaration was very clear: WTF’s only other ally could not come to their assistance (Soup said so.) or the entire Chaos coalition would descend upon them all in a wolf-pack-locust-like wave of false-death and simulated destruction, red in tooth and claw, slathering about the mouth, dripping pus and poison on to the soon to be corpse-strewn landscape. (Think of all of those dead WTF babies or don’t…most don’t in times like these…..) Mostly youngish men sending intangible soldiers off to fight a war that isn’t actually happening for a cause that can’t be explained in a Forum post…a tale as old as recorded time. Well it is Politics and War I suppose and this particular circumstance seems to have plenty of both. It almost seems as if the Soup Surgeons were frightened of the Horse People….that must have been it….maybe all of those chaotic fellows trembled before the might and eventual wrath of The Horsemen. It’s the only logical conclusion. Why, I would imagine Ripper and Spaceman Thrax both tremble at the mention of our guy Jarudoe’s name. Jarudoe just purchased his 14th city and is feeling pretty..pretty..pretty..stoked…savage even..sometimes he remembers to log in...almost every 4th or fifth day and some day soon, he’s gonna buy a missile. A shiny one. It’s all just good clean fun for everyone.. just not Horsemen apparently..at least not now anyway. Wait, I think i as supposed to say something about soup. I can't taste it but it smells of subterfuge good sirs. I apologize, i've been talking to those Infowars fellas too much and Alex Jones ate my immortal soul.
  22. Orbis can be a cruel mistress. Good luck to you.

    Nukes

Fun for doing a little damage as your own nation goes down in flames. Useful (occasionally) for making multiple opponents at least pay a little for keeping you off of beige during an extended rolling. Annoying when three of your nukes are blocked in a row and you realize 20% of the time is sometimes 100% of the time.
