  1. In the experience of World Task Force, Rose & Co. will declare war on alliances as part of an alliance bloc that aren't even actually affiliated with said bloc. So if they hit you for being affiliated with EVH, and you actually were, consider yourself lucky. Also, good hunting.
  2. If mil buys reset every 12 hours, then why are missile purchases limited to 1 per 12 hours? If you have Space Program, can you buy 2 missiles per 12 hours or are you limited to 3 missiles total for the day as on the Production server? Mil buys seemed buggy initially, I was able to buy more than my max for the day of soldiers, tanks, planes, and ships. Not sure if there is a legit issue here, will see how things work going forward. I agree with Sketchy, in that Beige turns to start should have been at least 24, not 2.
  3. Good to know. The new interface is growing on me. It's a big change, but a positive one. Kudos.
  4. Daily spy purchases on the Test server are currently limited to 2/day even if you have Intelligence Agency. Is that a bug or a feature? On the production server, you can currently create 3/day if you have IA (and 4/day if you have Spy Satellite). Daily missile purchases are also limited to 2/day, even if you have max national projects. Is this also a bug or a feature? This also differs from the number you can produce on the production server, which is 3/day with max national projects. If it is a feature, then does this mean that the max number of spies and missiles you can produce will be 1 less per day once the new Military page makes it to production?
  5. The treasures seem a bit gimmicky, but otherwise I like the creative thought here and would like to see these implemented.
  6. Single most important and informative post I've read in this forum this week.
  7. Technically they redacted the names of all the offshores and micros they are fighting, so there's that.
  8. If you can find someone as a protector who is willing to take a chance on you, and you are willing to listen to good advice and not repeat stupid errors, you can avoid that step. I didn't say it wasn't challenging.
  9. Discord isn't for everyone, I get it. But you'd do well to recruit someone to be your Discord spokesperson who can then communicate privately with other alliances, and then communicate with your community however you prefer. But right now, you are in absolute need of a protector alliance. Tiny alliances can escape notice some times if they stay quiet, but you've essentially given every raider on Orbis a map to your alliance and they will quickly raid you to death unless you act quickly. This can be a fun game, but first, you have to learn to play by the rules of the community.
  10. Tough break. You'd think that people had better things to do than manage more than one nation, but too many people are looking for an edge, or just to get over on the admin team. Sincere wishes that your alliance recovers.
  11. I’m sorry you are so bitter about the U.S. election results. You have issues. I can’t fix you.
  12. We recently went through a national election here in the U.S., where it was made rather clear by American voters that they were tired of people who see racism where it doesn't exist, but who then proceed to harass and gaslight others until either they see the racism too, and those who still refuse to see it are declared racist. If I had my way, all the team color names would simply be the name of the color they represent. Rather than that common sense solution, the OP is demanding that things be changed to symbols, because as we know, symbols can never be racist.... If this is some sort of running joke, not funny. If this is an attempt to insert RL politics into a game that doesn't benefit from it, at all, then go find something else to do.
  13. Given that every major alliance (and even some smaller ones) has apps that allowing them to track as people exit beige, when you are significantly outnumbered, double buying and blitzing is a fantasy. Oh you can try, but your defensive slots can be filled within minutes, and you end up wasting cash and resources for what frequently ends ups being a quick morale boost as you down declare and get in some conventional attacks, followed by turreting and back to beige.
  14. Net vs. Inflicted damage Also, Cam came into the war pretty infra heavy, so you’d expect their net to be lower.
  15. An impressive showing by Camelot against long odds. Credit where credit is due.
  16. Have you considered the possibility that Rose is at war right now for reasons that have nothing to do with the Arrgh "contest"? Don't mind me though, I'm just enjoying my popcorn.
  17. Same standard that World Task Force used for our own evaluation of our performance in the last global. Currently Cam has done $80,354,295,932 in inflicted damage.
  18. It was all one big global. Just different theaters of operation, each with a different name. Total damages were well north of a trillion in each theater. Not sure what the name for the whole thing should be, we'll leave it to the historians I guess.
  19. I've been told that more than one source said that they played a major role in leadership of the coalition. News to me, who actually was actually there and was part of most all the leadership discussions. *shrug*
  20. The wrap up of the SyndiSphere Front of the Darkest Hour Deux War, a war that has exceeded $2 trillion in damages thus far, which is pretty devastating, and it reminded me of another war some 5 years ago, which cost its combatants some $2.5 trillion in damages back when a trillion really meant something. I of course speak of NPOLT, or as I like to call it, The 248 Day War (a call back to another war IRL called "The Hundred Years War"). The 248 Day War was unprecedented in the history of Orbis, and thank God, has never again been rivalled in length. Nor should it ever. For my part, as co-leader with Acadia, I can confidentially say that no one in leadership in any alliance entered the war thinking it would last that long. June became July, which became August, and then September. It just sort of happened. It felt like we were near an end by December, but the complex treaty proposal by one of the coalitions, delays in negotiations by the other (you have to show up to have talks after all), meant December came and went without peace. This not a full recounting of the war. That would take up too much space, and no one would read it. Nor will I address how it ended. Those of us who were around back then have their options on that subject. Instead, I'd like to apologize on behalf on myself, TheNG, and all the other alliance leaders back then to any players who might have quit during the conflict out of frustration with a war that would not end (and if you were in leadership back then and think you nothing to apologize for at all, respectively you're wrong). As I say, it was never anyone's intension from the start to drag things out as long as they went. In our own frustration and bitterness toward each other, I think we forgot that perma war burns people out, even as we were burning out ourselves. Further, I've heard some odd rumors about how Camelot somehow masterminded the whole war, or lead their coalition or whatever. At least someone thinks that is the case, based on a recent conversation I had with Epi. For the record, Camelot five years ago was a relatively minor player in the conflict. NPO, Black Knights, Guardians of the Galaxy, Acadia, and Polaris (or UPN or some others I could name) were either more powerful and/or influential. Anyone who says otherwise should really go look at the alliance stats back in 2019. Anyway, here's to war. Bloodied pixels, infra is transitional, nukes taste like chicken, and chicks did scars. I had fun in this most recent conflict, even as I found myself rather outnumbered. Over $3 billion in inflicted damage, 38 wars, 20 of them offensive, woot! So as you celebrate outright victory or whatever victory you might pull out of a desperate fight in Darkest Hour Deux, let's also remember the past, and not repeat mistakes of an ancient era. Keep it fun.
  21. You are missing the point entirely. No one loves a duckroll. It's lazy, the people getting rolled certainly aren't having fun, and indeed even the people doing the rolling quickly get bored. The political dynamic needs to change. EVH was trying to change it.
  22. I have no knowledge of the KT and won't speak to it. But it felt a lot to WTF like you were baiting Church of Atom, a SAIL member, into coming to our defense. Perhaps you hoped that their entry would at some point constitute a NAP violation, or maybe you wanted them out of the way before the rest of SAIL showed up. As it was, we worked with United Purple Nations, The Coal Mines, United Socialist Nations, and The Lost Empire and resolved to hang on until the entirety of SAIL and their friends could come riding to the rescue. Indeed, we set up a Discord server for coordination purposes and a temporary coalition was formed. CoA's early entry was never going to happen, though we did talk frequently. You weren't "pawned off" on us. Once SAIL and friends countered you, we were more than willing to negotiate with you, and it was even suggested to us by Aurora and CoA that we could seek an exit from the war. You never showed to talk. You did manage to get hold of a very early draft of a peace proposal that was supposed to be the starting point of talks before it was finished and parade around with it show to whoever would listen.... But it's all good, since we weren't all that motivated to exit the war at that point. The pressure was off for the most part, and many WTF members were sitting around for lack of targets. We were content to wait until the general peace negotiations started and everyone was ready for the war to be over. When they did finally start, the war ended very (some say too) quickly.
