IMO upvotes have never been an accurate measure of post quality on any forum board or social media website ever, but I do think that your post (and all nominations) should've been voted on because it makes very little sense for a small group of nominees to determine a shortlist that the entirety of Orbis will have a much wider collective experience with (hence my earlier suggestion), and then if all the people who upvoted your post vote for you, let the chips fall that way

I'm not a nominee but I'm curious. Would you be willing to share those logs with the rest of us, or at least DM them privately?

I see a very simple compromise here: optionally merge some of the current alliance categories into the community categories, then have the chosen alliance representatives shortlist the alliance categories only while players vote on both the player and community categories without further shortlisting. Then we'd be getting the FA-vetted alliance awards, which is reasonable, while the other two categories also become reasonable since one or a few limited gov members who'd otherwise be deciding their representative vote typically don't have a large awareness beyond their own member base/ally member base.
