It's worth noting that Rose and MENSA/Guardian/SK/et al. share a common enemy in VE. It's not surprise that enemies would work together to bring down a larger shared foe. You see this historically all the time. I'm a bit perplexed what all this hubbub about treachery is about. Rose has been against MENSA (and likewise) for some time now, as far as I was aware.

Also -- since I suspect this thread *would* be locked for calling out moderators: I'm not calling anybody out. Merely asking important questions that should be addressed for the health of the forum as a whole.

Before this is randomly locked for a vague reason: "Moderation Support: Forum name change requests, thread locks, etc. Questions regarding forum and game rules." Moderators, why are you so heavy-handed with enforcing forum rules? Why do you remove & lock discussions the community is fine with taking place? Why do you believe you can enforce censorship when it is not asked for? Why don't you sit back and only intervene when necessary? Why do you only selectively enforce forum rules?

Foxes has made it clear he's a knucklehead in the brief interactions I've had with him.

Airstrikes seem to cap out in infra damage (around 60ish each), even targeting infra regardless of how many planes you have. Meanwhile naval units take out 110+ infra per hit. I'm assuming you're aware of this.

If it makes you feel any better Malone, a good portion of our members were really excited for a war. However, if orders from the higher ups are to stand down, then we stand down. From what I gather, war was avoided not because of the reparations, but to avoid being further labeled as warmongering aggressors in the community. While I wouldn't particularly mind, some members are (justifiably) worried that this label would lead to us getting teamed up on like GPA was -- and that's no fun. (Also, personally I'd normally just say screw it and attack, but I fancy not being kicked out of my alliance for 3 months~)

Malone, normally I enjoy your posts, but I don't understand why you're so salty about this. Ashland and Pfeiffer dislike each other. Ashland got his alliance to spy-barrage MENSA, Pfeiffer asked someone to spy-barrage Ashland. We could have gone into all-out war, in fact we were all gearing up as an alliance to do so, but we received reparations instead. Don't even pretend like you wouldn't have joined in on the whiteknighting if we turned down reparations and attacked. We would have been shit on all over the forums for such behavior.

It would be easier to join a larger alliance that doesn't suck. Just saying.
