  1. tfw someone uses MLP memes but likely doesn't watch the show
  2. Well actually, BK is the only one on the IQ side who has a "no-defeat" record, some IQ alliances haven't been winning any wars for a while. NPO has never been on the winning side. I'm not saying any side has committed any wrong, but some people are frustrated, which is probably the reason some IQ members antagonize Syndisphere so much. It would be real nice if we could get a third major bloc though, spice some things up.
  3. We still have a war duration record to beat boi
  4. Remember me, magic? When I was Cyprus?
  5. Well, we have 29 days left to beat a record.
  6. By the way, does this mean we can use the insanity plead when we're doing peace talks?
  7. ...And historical precedence in real life, too, if we're talking about direct democracy.
  8. Cities: Skylines > Stellaris > Victoria 2 > CK2 > EU4.
  9. Alongside some of my suggestions: Allow Catcher to play. Something a bit weird I noticed, but the batting order doesn't include pitchers and catchers, and skips them completely. This makes both players rather useless to invest at all, especially the catcher since he literally does not play at all. The catcher should be included in the batting order, and alongside another option... Allow Pitcher to play OR add a 10th player, the Designated Hitter. Either the Pitcher can be allowed to play, adding a batting stat to it, or a Designated Hitter will take its place in the batting order. This is an entirely new player who will bat in replacement of the pitcher. Allow nations to organize batting orders. This way, teams when batting can be arranged to give a better advantage during certain innings, and there is more strategic meaning to investing in certain skills on players. As it is currently there isn't much strategy involved in allocating skill points, so this can make up for more interesting games.
  10. How about we settle our sanity in a baseball game?
  11. The current war is 31 days long as of now, which is almost beating Silent. While I'm placing my doubts of it actually getting to 65 days, this is going to be one of the longest global wars soon enough.
  12. But surprise meetings are the best.
  13. All the shittalking towards Kastor and Lordaeron suddenly ended as sudden as they peaced out. Interesting. I won't imagine people would be this "cordial" if they were on it for a few more days.
  14. Good fight, though maybe you should have fortified or targeted ships earlier. One ground attack would have been enough, that extra one may have missed you an airstrike.
  15. Not 10% but "decom and downdeclare" is no easy task and if done poorly can fail. Some people in Syndisphere, especially more towards the mid-tier, have joined post-Silent and have never fought a war, and don't always decom the right units or coordinate well enough and unintentionally get rolled. That strategy actually requires you to plan out your targets and watch their score and military, then decom near update and try to hit and rebuy right after. Even then you'll have to take into consideration how other nations will counter you during that span of time. He never said that his side was winning, he said that offering peace doesn't mean they're losing and that Syndi is so confident that they could win. His opinion at the end of the day, but seriously, the OWF doesn't represent IQ well enough (very few BK members post here, for starters), and most of it is Syndisphere shittalking. You may argue otherwise but it is largely Syndi that dominantes the conversation while there are lesser people representing IQ.
  16. Yes, we're very poor. Send loans please.
  17. I can't see it, sorry. What does it say? Actually have a bit of difficult telling red and green.
  18. It's more the fault of Sheepy being a lazy ass because airplanes haven't been changed and have remained a tank killer since Silent War. IQ alliances aren't the first to use it; in fact, Syndisphere had formerly used it during the Silent War to gain an advantage. For many weeks people have asked Sheepy to balance planes. The test server is finally experimenting with it, however, halving tank losses from airstrikes and buffing tank damage and ground control. Part of it is deliberately holding down city count. Many nations easily have the capability to grow far beyond 10 cities or so, but as NPO currently functions it has a 100% tax rate on both revenue and resources and these funds are generally distributed to the low tier to grow their nations instead. It increases tier cohesion and allows NPO to more optimally use their numbers, but at the same time the lack of variety in tiering makes it difficult for them to updeclare.
  19. By the way, you don't need to post four times if you're quoting multiple people. Copying quotes on mobile isn't that hard.
  20. I'm just waiting for this topic to go into the very final stage of arguing called: "Get in my range and declare on me, you little shit".
