  1. Howdy! Reintroductions are weird! I quit playing about 2 years ago, when I was Steward of The Republic of Texas, in SK just about start to finish! But I'm back, Rebranded as mr. Seven Kingdoms of the SK Losers! I'm excited to be back, and see how the game has changed. -Steward
  2. I've seen this asshat in the forums before but don't know who the hell he is, so who the actual !@#$ is "Inst"? This coming from an SK'er with all of, like, 5 posts under his belt
  3. I started on Rome 1 and played it for about three years. That was one hell of a game. I always loved the Egyptian faction, although, with the exception of the hordes who I just never cared for, I loved near all of them. Then along came Medieval 2, with its hot seat campaign and amazing expansion, I preferred the Americas campaign, although Teutonic was a close second. Empire changed the entire series, from its scale to how cities and armies were managed. Prussia was easily my favorite campaign. Napoleon was good, but felt the same as empire, just smaller and more focused. Shogun was awesome, but I have the least amount of play time on it. Rome 2, now that it's patched, is absolutely epic. I've got an ongoing campaign on it right now, and the expansion campaigns we great, even if a little overpriced.
  4. I saw the game on sale, it looked awesome, but I read it was at a point where it was very difficult for new players to find their footing
  5. I've got a Mac, and I know M2TW is in the App Store but I haven't invested. From what I understand it's hard to get mods that work on it. I will eventually though! I just prefer the steam system
  6. Honestly, I know absolutely nothing about warhammer, but the game does look pretty cool. As long as it doesn't get in the way of the other projects I'm all for it!
  7. I haven't tried Attila yet to be honest, I'm a broke college student.n I'll buy it when it goes on sale. It looks solid though! I've loved the new Rome despite the birthing pains, but empire will always be special for being kick ass Shogun fell in a tough spot for me, between new computers. My old one was in its death bed and couldn't play newer games, but I didn't have enough for a new one so juiced life out of the old. By the time I got something new and decent Rome 2 was a year out. I got a few hundred hours in on FOTS, but never got into the base game
  8. Total war! Despite that I already made a post on it before looking here...
  9. I absolutely loved the original. I got it for Christmas when it came out, though I can't remember the year offhand. It was my go to game, and it was so sick. And then along came número dos and it absolutely blew my mind. I played the little ones on the psp, like rogue squadron and something else, and they were decent, but no where close to the first two. The new one has me so hyped, even though I do t have anything to run it on...
  10. I'm a big total war fan/player since Rome 1. I played empire offline for two years before I got a a steady internet connection, and most likely have a few thousand hours on it steam didn't track. I suppose this thread can be used for discussion or setting up mp campaigns. Let me knew if there are any TW'ers out there!
  11. Rape the village and pillage the women!
  12. This last semester I've been the odd one out. There's rap and all this other crap playing in all the other dorms, and I'll turn my amp up and blast the classics down the hall
  13. Boooombs awaaaay, but, we're okaaaay! Edit: The Police? Anyone get the song reference? I'm not just pointlessly baiting...
  14. Hahaha I'll keep that in mind
  15. That, was absolutely terrible. Are you deaf, dumb, blind and mute?
  16. But really, congrats Warpool!
  17. Can't be the axis, that would mean I can't use this meme...
  18. Gotta take some ass, and kick some names! Or something along those lines...
  19. We had a good bout Lunan! I agree with Solomon, I admire yall not abandoning ship, but Brooklynn isn't doing anything out of line, just trying to undermine an enemy in war. I'd call it saber rattling if the saber wasn't drawn and skewering someone... Not something to take personally...
  20. "Well I wasn't expecting some sort of a Spanish Inquisition"
  21. Well, now that you mention it... I do have many, leather bound books...
  22. Gotta be caught up in the important things in life, like the eventful times of Ms. Everdeen, and whatever the heck happened to Percy Jackson...
  23. I saw somewhere a bit ago this might have expired, but its worth a shot: Nation Name: The Republic of Texas Nation Link: https://politicsandwar.com/nation/id=10875
