Wiki Mod Dr Rush Posted February 3, 2015 Wiki Mod Share Posted February 3, 2015 Okay, so in looking around, I've noticed some other noobs have broken protection without taking necessary procutions. Would it be worth it to break protection to farm them or would I just be setting myself up to be farmed myself? Jodo
If you aren't in an established alliance with an aid program... prepare your anus. Otherwise, I'd say go it.
Hysteria
You still want 3000-9000 Soliders. This takes time only 1000 per barracks you own. Then you must support this army as you go to war. You will need ammo to make them more effective at a rate 1 per 5000 Soliders. Tanks are incrediblely expensive for newer nations to support and also require gas and ammo. You never get this two week period again when you lose a war you only get 5 days to recover. Atzuya
For a new nation, 14 days of war protection gives a lot more benefits than going into war. Just sit tight and try to get your 2nd city before it's over.
MRBOOTY
I'm an old player, with a new account When I was on beige, I broke out But you have to know that's because I knew what I was doing If you don't you might be screwing (yourself) So I can't tell you what you need But if you're in a decent alliance you won't be cleaned As a new nation you should be fine though Considering there are inactives galore for you to troll But you need to be a member of a good alliance Otherwise you will be blown to bits Quote MR BOOTY IN DA HOUSE http://i.imgur.com/R5WWAB1.jpg

Anneal
Stay safe. Always use protection. If you know what I mean Especially since there are probably other, much stronger raiding nations that might hit you back. There have been nations that intentionally have a low-score to harass other nations or completely rely on attacking other nations for their resources and money. Crowley
Then, what is suggested, militarily, for a young nation when leaving the 14 day Beige period? Should we have standing armies of troops, tanks, jets? Or just the ability to produce them? Or both?
Erin
Always have soldiers at least. Aircraft are preferable if you can afford them, and tanks are a nice bonus since they tend to be hardier than soldiers, although they cost much more including the steel, and can be negated if you opponent gains air control. So soldiers and aircraft should be the big two. I'd say around 6000-12000 troops is a decent figure since that's 2 full barracks for 1-2 cities which leaves you room for other improvements but is still a fairly significant defense force. Maybe 1 full airbase, too, esp if you have more than one city. Edited February 3, 2015 by Erin

Should we have standing armies of troops, tanks, jets? Or just the ability to produce them? Or both? You shouldn't forget about spies. Once you get your third city you should have at least a small number of spies (two to four is fine). Having none at all makes it much easier for other nations to sabotage your aircraft, tanks, and later on, ships. IMO have two barracks per city if you're not going to be raiding as much, along with a factory and air force base.

Atzuya
It's all depends on how high you are on the curve, really. If you're pretty much alone in your NS range, 5 barracks per city plus a handful of AFBs and factories is just a no-brainer. If you have three or more alliance mates near your NS range, you can relax a little on the military. If you have missiles and a lot of spies ready, you'll be forgiven if you don't have a standing military. There's no fixed standard here. Arthur James
if you wanna be a raiding nation, then mobilize your nation into military base. If you want to be prosper and grow up peacefully, stay under beige protection and maintain a decent army. if you only wanna be 100% economical base, build little or no armies and prepare to be farmed or under a protectorade. Please join one of the establish alliance and receive aid to speed up grow, "peacefully"
