saeton
I'm wondering if there could be a way to remove inactives from an alliance's score rating. Yes, the account itself will get deleted after X days, but in the mean time, you'll have an alliance with 50 people with less than 30 NS, all inactive still in the top 10 because they have that many people. Here's an example: *Rose is currently at #3. They have 73 members totaling at 19,083.27. If you remove the four inactive (7+ days) members, they'll lose 157.47 points, and be at 18,925.80. They'll remain at #3, but with less points. Alliances with greater numbers of inactives will go down further, causing actual changes when it comes to top spots. I'm not asking for these people to be removed from the alliance itself, just removed from the equation when it comes to alliance rankings. *Rose is the example because they actually have inactives (TEst and Guardian don't) and won't drop any if they're not counted. 1 Quote (TEst lives on but I'm in BK stronk now and too lazy to change the image)

Administrators Alex Posted January 5, 2015 Administrators Share Posted January 5, 2015 I don't like this idea. It seems awfully arbitrary to just not count nations as part of the score, why not just kick inactive nations out of alliances after X days? I think that would be a better solution. More targets (especially at higher scores) for raiders, and encourages players to be active. Quote Is there a bug? Report It | Not understanding game mechanics? Ask About It | Got a good idea? Phiney
This is perfectly fine as long as vacation mode is Implemented and its a 7 days inactive kick

Because when a nation goes inactive they become a tax farm until deletion making this solution invalid. 1 Quote Amidst the eternal waves of time From a ripple of change shall the storm rise Out of the abyss peer the eyes of a demon Behold the razgriz, its wings of black sheath The demon soars through dark skies Fear and death trail its shadow beneath Until men united weild a hallowed sabre In final reckoning, the beast is slain As the demon sleeps, man turns on man His own blood and madness soon cover the earth From the depths of despair awaken the razgriz Its raven wings ablaze in majestic light

I don't mean have alliance leaders kick out inactive nations, I mean have the game automatically remove them and make them a "None" after X days of inactivity. Quote Is there a bug? Dwynn
I don't mean have alliance leaders kick out inactive nations, I mean have the game automatically remove them and make them a "None" after X days of inactivity. Only if you add a vacation mode that freezes the nation (no taxes/income/resources/etc) but allows it to stay part of the alliance. Also vacation mode would need a min/max timer on it. Chey
Can we please not add additional levels of "activity"? This keeps getting suggested and continues to be a bad idea. Nations are already deleted after a certain point. What happens in between this existing barrier isn't really our business -- a nation can be a fully functioning member of this game without logging in daily. I mean, if you can't log in at least once a week, does your alliance deserve to farm you through taxes? Should you count to their overall score? Quote Is there a bug? Dark Specter
The way i see it you only spend 5 minutes a day looking at your nation and making a few clicks and when you finish you get off for the rest of the day, and the only way that you would spend more time on the game and make more clicks a day is if you or your alliance was at war. The politics, bickering and diplomacy all accord outside of the game whether on irc or the owf. So kicking nations out of an alliance after going inactive for x amount of days or preventing them from being taxed after going grey isnt a big deal. Plus how hard is it to simply log in once a week for a few minutes which will prevent you from going grey and possibly being kicked from your alliance due to inactivity.
