You can say that not everyone believes in Santa, God, Allah, and the Tooth Fairy, but surely you can't question the existence of abortions.

You know what I mean,

The Last Temptation of Christ caused fundamentalist Christians to firebomb a theater in Paris back in the 80s.  If people would go nuts over a Scorsese film I bet they'd go really bananas on what I'm sure is a quality cinematic experience that is the Interview. ;)

I love how all of you are talking about the plot of a movie you haven't even seen.

You don't know me, you don't know my life!

Orbis Wars   |   CSI: UPN   |   B I G O O F   |   PW Expert Has Nerve To Tell You How To Run Your Own Goddamn Alliance | Occupy Wall Street | Sheepy Sings

TheNG - My favorite part is when Steve suggests DEIC might have done something remotely successful, then gets massively shit on for proposing such a stupid idea.

Come on, NOTHING in Naked Gun was even remotely serious. This movie might of been a comedy but the central plot seems serious.

This was the most wrong statement I have ever seen.  When has Seth Rogen ever done something serious.  Regardless, I have now seen the movie and can promise you that it was not remotely serious.  Seth and Franco constantly screw up, have to shove things up their ass, and become best friends with Kim as they do bad ass stuff in a tank......

It feels like two friends were having a conversation about silly ways to assasinate Kim Jung Un and they just made that crazy conversation into a movie.

I love Seth Rogen and James Franco, but having said that...I heard that despite all the controversy, the movie is pretty bad.  Not sure if I want to even bother seeing it at this point.  A lot of people liked Seth Rogen's "Neighbors" film, but I didn't laugh once.  Seems like his more recent material isn't as funny as his earlier works.

0/10 wasted money

Oh, I thought this was a review thread. My bad. ;)

Wait, you actually paid money to see that atrocity?

Does it need to be completely down to earth with no comedy at all?  I don't know about that but 50/50 was a film he was in that was certainly more of a "dramedy" imo than straight out comedy.  First film I saw him in that made me see him as more than a buffoon.

Saw for free online. Seeing it free again on Netflix. Arrgh!

"In an honest service there is thin commons, low wages, and hard labor; in this, plenty and satiety, pleasure and ease, liberty and power; and who would not balance creditor on this side, when all the hazard that is run for it, at worst, is only a sour look or two at choking. No, a merry life and a short one, shall be my motto." - Bartholomew "Black Bart" Roberts

I watched this movie expecting it to actually be good....

The only part that made me laugh was the scene with the tiger. The rest was shit. I'm with Kim on this. The movie should have been burned in hellfire, or never made to begin with.
