Reversed seasons?

I assume that the seasons are based on continent rather than location. The majority of Africa is south of the equator, so all of the continent is considered south of the equator.

Edit: Just looked at a map and it seems that this isn't so, but I am still wondering if the seasons are based on the continent rather than the equator.

Grillick is correct, Africa, South America, and Australia are all considered in the southern hemisphere in-game.

Sheepy, you should base it on the nations latitude rather than continent.

This has been gone over before. Simply put, it's better how it is.

If seasons are based on continents then Africa, Australia, and South America shouldn't have winter at all. :P

I want Antarctica, where it's winter all the time. Just to show how badass I am. Edited by Kurdanak
