Thalmor Posted May 3, 2016 Share Posted May 3, 2016 A little over a month ago, Evenstar forces conquered and annexed the North Meonesian Federation. Rule over the island was given to General William Matters, who led the force that took the island over. From there on, colonial affairs were left in the hands of General Matters- in other words, I, Thalmor, Ignored it. However, following the recent bombing of Meokraud and the presence of a large terror group, the Meonisian Islamic Battalion of Defense, on the Meonesian Isles, I have learned this is a mistake. Starting immediately, the following reforms and actions are being undertook: 1 - All suspected Muslims on Evenstar Meonesia shall be imprisoned until a country comes forth to take them in. 2 - No Muslims, unless they have special permission, shall be allowed to enter Evenstar-Meonesia until 2005. 3 - General Matters shall be promoted to Lord-Governor, and shall have full reign and authority on Evenstar-Meonesia and priority contact to the Evenstar Department of War 4 - A unit of four-thousand Royal Evenstar Army personnel shall garrison Evenstar-Meonesia to patrol it's coastline. 5 - All spies and special agents of the Evenstar Intelligence Department will attempt to infiltrate and undermine the Meonesian Islamic Battalion on Defense- hereby designated as a terror group. 6 - The Khilafa of Arabia is hereby designated as state-sponsor of terrorism. We encourage all nations internationally to isolate them and even to take military action. I also take full responsibility for the bombing of Meokraud. I shouldn't have ignored the issues facing the island by just appointing Lord-Governor (then General) Matters and hoping for the best. However, Muslims are very much prone to radicalizing and I do not want the presence of the Meonesian Islamic Battalion on Defense to instigate that. In kicking them out and shutting the borders to them, I am keeping my people safe. I'm at least having the decency to ensure their safe transport to another Muslim country. Besides, Evenstar-Meonesia is still rebuilding, most of the land is toxic, and there's very few Muslims on the island to begin with. Have your transports come at anytime- just send the Evenstar Department of War a message telling that their coming. Upon landing, the prisoners should be in a position to be loaded up within half an hour. They will still be in their orange jumpsuits, but each will have three suitcases of personnel belongings with them. They are well fed and well taken care of. Arabia is definitely a state that supports terror, but the greater terror is the use of overwhelming force to invade and subjugate an entire nation and it's people, ie what Evenstar is doing to Meonesia. Do ethics and morality not exist to you? There is more to human affairs than naked power you know. And either way, the role of liberating Meonesia belongs only to the Meonesian people, if we were to act to restore Meonesian independence it would be like us imposing ourselves. Also we put partial blame also on the reactionary monarchy, which was incompetent and did not serve the Meonesian people well, at the time of invasion they only had a military of 1,000 soldiers, why was the entire population of Meonesia not mobilized for a great patriotic defense? The Meonesian capitalists and aristocracy and probably profiting from the occupation right now rather than using their money and influence to organize resistance. The Northern Meonesian Federation has a very small population. We attacked at night, and with far superior firepower; they were simply to overwhelmed to have done anything. Even then, however, a lot of irregulars and militia did spring up and tried attacking the occupied capital that very morning. The people did try, Velika, you should've read through the entire last thread about it. The Northern Meonesian Federation also had very few capitalists and no aristocracy what so ever. The invasion of the Northern Meonesia Federation was completely an act of imperialism on my behalf. Don't try to spin it as anything else to fit your asinine conspiracy theories, you commie. Oh, and Meonesia isn't the same as the North Meonesian Federation. They're completely different countries (although the confusion is understandable).
