Fukuda Kazuma Posted April 1, 2016 Share Posted April 1, 2016 After about three days of fighting, the invasion of Denmark is now considered a success as Danish soldiers in Copenhagen immediately surrendered after being pressured by the Swedish Armed Forces in three directions. As the RSA arrived in Copenhagen, thousands of medical workers, engineers and builders followed to assist in the rebuilding efforts of the city. Trucks have been sent to transport debris and doctors and medical specialists came to provide treatment to the wounded civilians. After calculating the statistics of the war, the total losses are known to be as high as 1200 Swedish men with up to 2500 Danish soldiers dead from the first invasion. These soldiers, whether or not enemy or ally, will always be remembered as those who died with courage and honour. With the war ending in a Swedish victory, it has been agreed that Denmark is to be annexed into the Kingdom of Sweden as well as the German city of Rostock. This will give the kingdom economic benefits as it provides the kingdom wider access to the English Channel and the Pacific Ocean as well as to provide a buffer from European invasion. In a statement by one of Finland's top officials, the following; "It's unacceptable. In this modern day and age, I think the concept of military occupation and annexation is completely and utterly unacceptable, and it goes against everything we believe in, here in Finland. Out of respect for our Grand Duchess' familial ties I am unable to comment on how deeply this affects Finland, as many in the world would see us as a puppet nation of Sweden, but I shall say it now and I'll say it again- What Sweden has done, and is doing, to Denmark, is unacceptable, and I expect better from them. As a fellow Nordic peoples, the Danish people should have been asked whether or not they wished to join the Swedish dominion- Not be invaded and have those democratic rights to choose their national allegiance, taken from them." The Grand Duchess herself was unavailable to comment on the situation as she was returning from a skiing trip in the North of Finland. An emergency meeting has been called between the Grand Duchess and her Parliament in order to discuss and ascertain the Grand Duchy of Finland's actions and official response to the current development in Denmark. Many fear that this will cause a divide between Finland and Sweden- Or, worse yet, a divide between Finnish Parliament and the Finnish Monarchy- As the Monarchy will want to continue to support its Swedish roots and ties, but the Finnish Parliament may want to impose sanctions or other measures upon Sweden for its perceived illegal occupation of Danish and German lands. A compromise may have to be made. The emergency meeting is scheduled to occur within a few days, and the Grand Duchy of Finland has stated that it will decide on a course of action within 7 (seven) days. In a fiery speech by the First Secretary of the PPSH, Comrade Enver Hoxha stated; "This imperialistic actions of the Kingdom of Sweden cannot go unpunished, these reactionary bandits will know the true strength of the dictatorship of the proletariat, I hereby authorize the buildup of the Albanian People's Army, and order all missiles to be prepared for launch, with bunkers being made all over the country! If the western imperialistic Swedes bourgeois dares even thinking about placing a single foot in our motherland, they shall face our full wrath! " After the speech, the Albanian People's Army was placed on high alert, with the nation declaring martial law. Bunker construction was also reported in numerous spots in cities and the rural country side. The Albanian Ministry of Foreign Relations will also will be giving the Danish Socialist Party a "government in-exile" placement in Albania, and will be fully protected with full diplomatic immunity. It upholds the principle of self-determination of the peoples, the exercise of full national sovereignty and equality of all countries in international relations. This goes for the Veliki, Albanians, Swedes, Danes, Chernigovans, Khevinists, and all peoples. We shall support the Albanian effort to establish progressive-patriotic government-in-exile for the Danes, and if necessary will host them in Velika. We also will be shutting down all relations, both diplomatic and economic - including all trade, with the Kingdom of Sweden until it withdraws completely from Danish territory. Chairman Kolarov shall host First Secretary Enver Hoxha in the Ostromir Kremlin to discuss the Danish Crisis. Other issues on the agenda are: Closer collaboration and communication between the Party of Labor of Albania and the Communist Party of Velika, military collaboration between the People's Army of Albania and Velika, and increased trade between both our countries. Too many were lost in this war, too many to be forgotten about. Therefore, I will be ordering the construction of a monument in Chernigov that will honor those who died, Civilian or not. Do not think that we do not support Sweden, of course. We will consider them an ally as long as possible. However, that does not justify the slaughter of innocents. We all know you're never going to get anywhere if you're nice all the time. Even though we've taken complete control over Denmark even with about 3000 civilian losses, they still run normal lives. Offices, hotels and harbours are still functioning as per normal. The only difference is that now, they're waving the banner of the Kingdom of Sweden and an additional 50 000 troops deployed to maintain law and order. Also, we're a mighty authoritarian monarchy, not a weak socialist state. Our policies are extremely different from you socialists but we're not going to hesitate killing socialists if they're a threat to the kingdom. So this is my final warning. We're not going to open our country to any of the socialist states but we'll still let the foreign socialists already working in the kingdom stay if they want to and we'll leave them alone. However, if I hear even the slightest hint of political uprising, revolution or protest in Denmark, the Royal Swedish Army will not hesitate to shoot, kill, imprison or detain any socialist.
