Before i begin lets please follow some simple rules

 • Dont take this off topic and attack anyone regardless of faith
 • Do not try and ignite this and start a flame war
 • Do not bash Muslims, Christians, Jews, atheists, or anyone

This is just something interesting that i think should be debated about and yea. Lets begin.

Also this is just to inform some people (Some) why ISIS isnt about Islam and how Islam's founder warned us about them

"If you see the black flags *, then remain on the ground and do not move a hand or a leg.
A group of feeble folk to whom no concern is given will then appear - their hearts are like iron [1].
They are the owners of the state [2].
They fulfill neither a contract nor a covenant [3].
They call to the truth, but they are not its people [4].
Their names are a kuniya and their lineage (surnames) are a town [5].
Their hair is unwinding, like the hair of a women [6].
(Do this) until they differ in it between themselves, then Allah will give the right to whomever HE desires."

Reference: Prophet Muhammad, as narrated by Ali ibn abi Talib, in the collection Kitaab Al Fitan by Nu’am bin Hammad, Hadith # 557

Now, see this explanation of the key points:

* - ISIS uses a black flag which fits in perfectly with the prophecy.

1. - The hadith says they are a feeble folk to whom no concern is given, i.e. they are relative newcomers to the fight in Syria, which then surprisingly achieve much success in a lightning flash - but their hearts are from iron. The arabic used here means they are CRUEL and MERCILESS. The countless slaughterings from ISIS surely fit in here quite well.

2. - The most amazing part of the prophecy is this here: The hadith says LITERALLY (in arabic) that these people are the owners of DAWLA (state) - a word which wasn't even used in the time of Muhammad because there was no concept of "states" in that time - the word DAWLA from the prophecy was basically used verbatim as said by Muhammad although hadith collectors for generations most probably had no idea whatsoever what it meant! But, how does ISIS call itself today? "DAWLA al Islamiya" (the Islamic State). This fact is simply amazing!

3. - ISIS had quite a few contracts with other rebel groups and other al-qaida groups and they BROKE all their covenants! This is a known fact.

4. - ISIS calls to "Sharia" (God's Law) but they themselves do not uphold it! The Sharia for example orders the muslims to treat their prisoners well, to feed them with what they feed themselves and then to FREE THEM and escort them to wherever they would wish to go! The Sharia PROHIBITS the torture or killing of prisoners. Yet, what does ISIS do?

5. - Another amazing part of the Prophecy: The hadith says these ISIS guys will have a Kunya as their name (a kunya is a pseudonym), like Abu-so and so - and what are the names of all the ISIS Leaders? "Abu-Bakr", "Abu-Musa", etc. But wait, the hadith even says that they will use "towns" as their last names! Again, what are the "last names" of the ISIS dudes? "Al-Baghdadi", "Al-Anbari", etc. Simply amazing!

6. - Have you seen pictures of the overwhelming majority of ISIS dudes? Almost all of them have long hair!

I've heard some extremely similar arguments from other Muslims. IDK about prophecy, as I don't believe in your prophet or your God. I do know that many arguments, using the prophet as a reference, have been made both in favor and against ISIS. Both sides seem pretty convincing in the case of legitimacy when only using the Islamic religion as it's reference. The problem I often find with prophecies is that they tend to be vague and can be attributed to countless different aspects of things happening in just about any given time. Being raised Christian, I know that many strong arguments have been made by Christians for centuries, at least since Roman times, about the impending end of the world. It never happens.

I'm highly inclined to believe there is no legitimate authority over Islam and this post, as well as the ISIS apocalyptic ideology, are all just people making speculations about statements made during a time which nobody here comprehends. Unreliable at it's very best.

but... but cluster bombs are banned ;_;

Damn. The UN bans everything fun. When I was a kid, I wanted to develop chemical weapons. The UN !@#$ed that up, too.

TBH, they don't fight by any rules of war. Why can't we omit just a few?

"Here you are loving them but they are not loving you, while you believe in the Scripture - all of it. And when they meet you, they say, "We believe." But when they are alone, they bite their fingertips at you in rage. Say, "Die in your rage. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of that within the breasts." If good touches you, it distresses them; but if harm strikes you, they rejoice at it. And if you are patient and fear Allah , their plot will not harm you at all. Indeed, Allah is encompassing of what they do." (Quran 3:119-120)

Is this verse you showing your support for ISIS?

He's always been a supporter of the Islamic State, hence his nation name "Islamic State".

On a more serious note, the Syrian Army (Assad pro-forces) are making serious gains against the Islamic State in Syria.

No, it's showing the hypocrisy of Lelouch Vi Britannia.

On a more serious note, the Syrian Army (Assad pro-forces) are making serious gains against the Islamic State in Syria.

Present your evidence: Where are these gains being made exactly?

Alas we all know this.

I was trying to give him the opportunity to deny the charge and get himself out of a whole heap of trouble. I know that's wishful thinking but one can always try and help people.

It's not too late to see the Middle East by air...

I sat in that very cockpit in the bombers seat- ED-049. That is a B1A flying over Edwards Air Force Base dropping practice bombs on a dry run. I believe it is a CIA plane now, still in use.

Mainly in the Aleppo region.

That does not even begin to compare to the huge victories IS have scored against the SAA in just the past few days in places like Deir ez-Zor.

The Islamic State are nihilists. They have no regard for human life whatsoever, and believe in nothing but expansion. I've seen pov footage of them recently, gunning down innocent civilians randomly in drive-by shootings. Even other radical Islamist groups, like Hezbollah, are now fighting against them, and are even considering eventually collaborating with Inherent Resolve, if they can come to an agreement with the West. Now I'm not for U.S. intervention, but I would still support any attempt made by other groups in that region in eliminating that retched organization. They're no more Muslims, than they are decent human beings. No one likes them. No one wants them. Screw ISIS, and anyone who supports them.

OMG! I was just waiting for you to mention Deir ez-Zor. It took you long enough. The funny thing is that Deir ez-Zor has held out this whole time, being surrounded and the only reason ISIS takes it now is because of their losses in the north, the east, and stalled advances in the west. They're supply lines are being heavily targeted, destroyed and taken and need to open new ones. I've said it once and I'll say it again, ISIS has reached an expansion limit, at least in the Levant/Iraq. They are losing ground. They are fighting a war of attrition which is statistically impossible for them to actually win.

They can drag it out for as long as they want, but so can we. In the end, nobody wins. We all just end up as hate filled !@#$ who forget all sense of reason.

Im sorry, what scholars?

Do you have evidence to prove this statement like I have evidence to prove mine?

The Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) said "They will come from my ummah" Meaning: They the army of the anti-chirst will be Muslims

"They will recite the Quran beautifully but it will not go beyond their throat" Meaning: They will call to follow God, but they wont do it themselves

What were the rules of battle before the battle of Mecca? "Do not kill any elder, do not harm any green tree, do not kill any women or children, do not destory any places of worship"

ISIS is the seed that will grow into the Dajall

Also keep in mind, it will NOT ONLY be Muslims, but EVERYONE who has GOOD in their hearts, will fight for Good

Inshallah, all believers and those who do Good, verily they will be among those in heaven, not only the Muslims, as some muslims will be in hell

and im sure of that

You are correct that it in no way compares to the operational (you would say strategic which is wrong but w/e) significanve of Aleppo. Aleppo is vastly more important.

TBF, Aleppo has never been a strong spot for ISIS.

Sorta but no. Their ability to influence logistics nodes/or not is a big deal, operationally speaking. There is some tactical stuff that is a bit more technical but their relative strength is not as critical as their ability to impact LOCs.
