  1. I remember a time when my little alliance was getting dog piled, and I specifically reached out to you my ally for help and was only met with silence (it was bad enough that I even had to ask in the first place). So in my opinion your respect has very little weight in my eyes.
  2. if you have never had the majority of the game come together specifically to slap you down, can you claim to have ever really accomplished anything?
  3. You should give him your home address and have him clean your house. I think that would prove both trust to not dox you, and you know he really wants to reform because he is willing to clean your house. And you can judge him on how good of a job he does.
  4. That is some pretty impressive white washing of the IQ war. That being said it was a few years ago, I didn't think anyone really still held that against Camelot. If anything I assume its just an excuse to take a shot at them.
  5. Yeah great idea till someone figures out how to cheat/abuse it, like that jackass did back in the day with Keno.
  6. What about all of us that had to play for 100 days minimum to reach c10, something you can do in day 1.
  7. You can make a project to lower radiation, and all you will end up doing is devaluing the cost of food, because you will be increasing the supply. I dont know why you would want to change the most dynamic resource in the game, and the only resource affected by in-game factors you can not control. The fact that a bunch of different in-game mechanics can affect it, makes it much more interesting than stay steel, or oil. I believe the devs already learned this lesson when they changed that noob project that allowed little nations to make more raws, and all it did was lower the cost of raws, which probably benefited us large nations much more than the little nations. Since we went from paying 4k ppu for bauxite to paying what? 2500 ppu for bauxite now? Every time they change the game it affects large nations, and guess what, most of the time it effects us positively more than negatively, even when the original intention was to help somebody else, or even try to nerf us. (granted 25-35 is currently mid tier at best) Welcome to being a larger nation, as you get bigger things slow down, you think its slow now, wait till you get to 40-50 cities, and new cities cost multiple billions of dollars. If you really want to help yourself make more cash to grow, you should be pushing for things to cost more resources, since we now have nations capable of making 5k+ of every resource a day, and being able to flood the market. If you want to make more money you will need to come up with ways to increase demand. Currently the best way to do that, is to engage in all those wars you dont like fighting in. When the entire world cant produce food for 2 months straight, that is when your war dodging butt can go out and make a killing. Politics AND War, not Politics or War. If you are playing politics to avoid fighting in wars, personally I think you are doing it wrong, but that is an entirely different discussion. Also if you are paying 100/100 in taxes of course you are not going to have anything to do. Switch to 0/0 and be amazed at how much quicker you can do things. (i always forget about taxes as I haven't paid in game taxes for like 6-7 years) As for talking about not having projects for larger nations, Every project in the game is a bonus project for larger nations. One of the good parts of being a large nation is you can have more projects. So every time a project is introduced into the game, that benefits us. Besides that new nation project we referred to earlier since we are not able to buy that one. You said why should you grow beyond X size? Ignoring military that is another reason to do so. We aren't allies, so please continue to handicap yourself by wasting money on little nations who will mostly just end up quitting instead of investing in yourself.
  8. Yes this is the reason to always to be growing. When you are ready to actually join politics and war beyond sitting around as a protectorate that doesn't engage in real wars you will learn that real quick, also if you are complaining you cant make money with over 25-30 cities, that is on you.
  9. Make a plan, stick to it. Be aggressive but realistic about your plan.
  10. I thought you could do this already? or was that just for mass infra purchases?
  11. The only major alliance that does this as far as I know is Grumpy, and even we have had to tone it back. The reason 99.9% of alliances dont tell their members anything is that if plans get leaked it can completely blow up an alliance/bloc's plans which can lead to them getting rolled. So the rule of thumb is that most alliances consider the risk to be too great to share OPSEC info with it's general members. Alot of alliances have additional walls between lower gov and upper gov, and you can have blocs that have an additional wall between upper gov and alliance leaders only. (and if you really want to know where the real plans get made its in private group chats between like 3-5 extremely influential people)
  12. Pitchers and Catchers are reporting in the next few days!
  13. Really, NPO in Orbis is the equivalent to !@#$'s in the real world. Whats that rule called? you argue on the internet long enough someone will talk about Nazis? Basically its an easy/lazy way to make a group look bad on the OWF. It's why other people get mad when they get compared to them, because its a near universal agreement that NPO/IQ behavior during that war was the worst thing to happen in the history of this game. In the inner/outer circles I run/ran (go go retirement!) in, we never talk about them, the only time I ever see it brought up is on the OWF, and liked I referenced above, its an easy/lazy way to score political points.
  14. I wonder if Thanos from BK would be sad that we dont recognize him for his large roll in IQ war and in dragging it out, and just talk about Roq and NPO. Poor guy cant catch a break.
  15. What's cringe is somebody that raids a dude and then makes a post about it. Be better.
  16. Its been 2315 days since myself and some like minded individuals created the greatest alliance in the history of Orbis. That being said 2315 days is a long ass time to be leading an alliance, and since I started as a grumpy old bastard, I have only gotten even older and more grumpy. I feel like its time to move on, and start enjoying the AARP benefits. I am officially retiring as leader of Grumpy. Now that I am done talking about my favorite subject, its time to move onto more important matters. It's my esteemed pleasure to announce Presidential as the new leader of Grumpy, he has been my right hand man for years and I look forward to seeing how he will lead Grumpy to continued greatness.
  17. Honestly in GnR, if that war dragged on another few weeks they probably would have won, We were burning warchests like champs keeping so many of them down. Good news is that they didn't so we were able to pull out the military victory of one bloc holding down 2.5 blocs.
  18. What is happening in here? Are you guys really arguing over a small war from 7 years ago? I hope you UPN guys are turning it around, but you have been objectively one of the worst performing alliances in the game for a number of years. I would put you slightly better than WTF. Say what you will about Mayor, he isn't my favorite person but atleast he shows up and tries when a war rolls around.
  19. Fun fact, Pineapple has an enzyme in it that breaks down I believe proteins, so when you eat pineapple, its trying to eat you back. I saw that on a show somewhere, so no idea if its true, but its sounds fun so i am going to go with it.
  20. Have you ever read Grumpy written announcements of any kind before? They very rarely are longer than a paragraph. Brevity is the height of wit.
  21. if you only stuck around for another week, you could have been a part of it!
