  1. Heya! Every so often we get suggestions like these The reason this isnt done is because historically speaking it has never been done, and would be such a dramatic change to the meta that is would be nearly impossilbe / unfair to people to do that now. Another reason is that it seems very hard to balance, if you can just steal every city of your opponenets
  2. Good luck to everyone involved -Emoji.url
  3. I presume he means city size Sq. miles are scary
  4. This seems like an incredibly convoluted system for something that doesn't need it imho. Although I am a big fan of convoluted systems I would prefer that effort to go to more interesting mechanics.
  5. I think this is a really interesting mechanic but there are three things I wish to note: 1 : Sometimes you should have to choose between purely bad options, only positive events are boring bro 😛 2 : The list would need to keep expanding so people dont get the same 5 event over and over again, because at that point it becomes very stale too. 3 : Some events should be more interesting than just purely adding or removing some (relatively) minor stats. I think ideas of for example having a defence slot less (so only two) for 10 days, to gain a combat bonus, to gain a unique treasure (which can also be stolen, and dissapears after two months ofc) etc.. would be a lot more interesting and would make these events actually worth it and not just some boring minor stats which few people care about. Ofcourse these pretty powerfull effects listed above should be far more rare than "Gain 30% extra spy defense" for obvious reasons. bonus: It would also be interesting if some events cause cross nation interaction (for example you gain 200% extra loot against this nation for 5 days), or require you to fufill "objectives" to gain a reward. However I realize im probably over ambitious here, but hey no harm in sharing.
  6. I have the pleasure of working with some of the brightest econ minds in the game, (rose's econ departement ofcourse), and I can tell you that you do not need a mad genius to figure it out, just some econ brains and 2 or 3 days of time. I am sure other alliances also have a great econ departement and they would figure it out in a few days time too. If you make the variables hidden, it will be figured out too, but it will take a big longer. Unless you make your policies have hidden atributes and interact with eachother in unique ways (eg multipliers reductions, cancelations), have "noise" on nation income so you dont just earn the same every turn and preferably add some noise to the varaibles themselves people will figure it out. I personally do not think putting in all the time to make secret effects is worth it. I do not think it is feasible to do without secret effects because you will hurt the people who like RP'ing because of economic efficiency.
  7. Yeah it's a thing, usually it's just alliance's who arent a huge fan of that idea.
  8. Oh my god this might just be the best piece of diplomacy we have ever had in orbis bro. The only "recent" war that needed a NAP was NPOLT, that's all. At that point everyone wanted / needed a break. But now its just like six months here, six months there. The guy who started these talks is an absolute madlad.
  9. !@#$ me bro, what a reality check. We really should shouldn't we.
  10. What I think happened is that Alex imported a list of words that should be filtered. Afrika Corps is a very famous !@#$ division that was known for literally nothing else, hence it was in the list. but seeing that Afrika Corps indeed has history in this game, I would see it as opportune to remove this one word from the filter.
  11. Look in all reality im just choosing an outrageous title for a stupid subject. I don't actually care about national animals. All im saying though is that a national dish is a lot more important than a national animal, and a national dish isn't in the game. @Alex pls fix
  12. Seems fun but i note some concern: Would that make it so that actively having less officers would reduce the amount of people you can spy? Might lead to some !@#$y wucky mechanics what we might not want.
  13. Make a realistic football sim, inside of a nation sim game.
  14. Tourism probably wouldn't be worth to add in the current way you proposed. Because time happens so quickly people would simply calculate which one of both is most efficient and build that. I do think "Fishing" (or something similar) like you proposed is an interesting idea.
  15. Even if they do. The only essential project for raiders (and even that isnt that essential, but it approaches being essential) is PB. Making another 500-1000K a day is quite a good adition for new players i'd dare say.
  16. Inteligence Agency really isn't that important for low level players. Spying happens rarely at C3.
  17. I mean maybe, but i'd argue that knowing the basics of the game, and looking at formulas etc would be pretty handy if you want to propose suggestions, if he did he would not have proposed #8 for example. In any case though you are right, we do not want to exclude anyone from this forum, but if you propose 10 difrent posts, i think it's fair to ask to be a big more thourough and understanding about how the game works.
  18. Nah not alternatively, like, also do that. Make it an AND condition.
  19. Bro, i told you earlier to please get some expierience before suggesting more and more ideas which are not based in balance. You are currently suggesting as many things as everyone suggests in a month. I want this sub forum to be active, but I do not believe you know how to play this game well enough at all, to make all these suggestions. Please join an alliance, and get more expierienced before churning out suggestions like you're a chinese factory.
  20. With all due respect, most of these suggestions do not resamble anything close to balance. I encourage activity on this forum, but i suggest you first get to expierience a global war, and hopefully delve into some govt work in an alliance, so youi get a better grasp on what suggestions are good, and which ones are unfeasible / broken / terrible. You currently aren't even in an alliance, which would be a very good first step for you to be able to make good suggestions. To give some concrete critique: "Add submarines" is vague and not detailed enough (it should deserve it's own post alltogheter). EMP missles is a good idea imho but needs a lot more refinement. (and once again, it's own post.) Your war policies are horidly over powered. Strategic bombing is underpowered... So please join an alliance, play in a global, start to grasp the current mechanics, and then come back. Without being in an alliance you do not understand how the game works for 99% of active players.
  21. You don't know what discussion you've jumped into 😛 I think multiple people would literally organize protest marches if we do that.
