Rose and T$ are both old alliances that have the skill and ability to form spheres around them creating a dynamic environment, this just kills politics. Now on the other hand, Rose shocked me and disappointed me, after the long conversations I've had with Valk, Harry, Abbas and other representatives over the last few years, this move is completely out of step for what Rose claimed to be and stand for. Actually no, even if a major partner of MHC is leaving, the treaty would still be binding for us to the remainder of the alliances. We choose to withdraw from that agreement ourself, to pursue alternatives options.

I was going to make a long post about this but then i remembered this argument has been hashed out over and over again. The fact is bots help alliances run, when alliances run better it helps engage and keep new players. New players = good so that means bots=good

Decent WoT, I actually agree that politics have tanked and become almost non-existent over the last few years. However I do believe there are a few main reasons that address this issue. 1. The forums have become essentially a announcement board. Until recently nothing political was being discussed. I actually love the forums, it provides a well documented account of activities and peoples PoV at the time. In the current era of news servers discussions are easily lost, this kills any accountability for actors with flaky stances. 2. Shifts in peoples perspectives regarding war being short and ending in WP. I point to this as the main cause. This shift has killed the ability of people to actually be political long term because you are expected to drop grievances immediately. While I do believe no grudge should last forever, I believe some do certainty add to the political game and should run their coarse. In the same aspect I dont think wars should last to long but wars that are to short just dont add to the game either. 2.5 More related to #2 is CBs, Adam covered this really well, it appears having a CB is almost pointless at this point, I really wish we could back track and go back to actually caring about getting a valid CB. 3. There is a general lack in peoples willingness to be "political" publicly. Everything is back door and does not really hit the same way. While it was certainly a shit show, I think having political leaders arguing their positions on radio shows (and forums) in front of members of every sphere really helped shape things. These events may have been minor in the grand scheme of things but these are the only avenues members have to get a glimpse of politics. It got members involved in the overall field, X is mad at X, my alliance doesn't like Y because of Z. As of late when it comes to wars I find myself and my government, allies ect looking at charts and sphere sizes more than anything. Threats are not because of political events, threats come from what spheres are close in size, because we are also close in size. I believe in the effort to make the game less toxic, we went to far and took away the political part of politics and war Peace Terms: Jesus, yes, these need to come back and ASAP, they added a huge political resource to add to the overall political field. While i still dislike and will never support reps, I do think some (within reason) peace terms should certainly be added. The point of the war is to make your opponent take more losses than your own, so the idea of just letting people off makes no sense to me (on wars with actual CBs). With that said id support terms on wars that are within reason...

I see reading comprehension is not one of your strong suits, to break down my statement. We have refused requests to help hit you (and now we feel we should have considered), but dont worry my grammar may be off but comprehension isn't a issue. Ill be sure to shoot intel your way since your obviously a great friend of ours. We said we would consider the proposal, we were then added to a group chat where BW reps laid out the plan. I believe Oasis / Minc may have said yes or atleast voiced interest when making the tie public (your idea) was on the table. We then backed out later when the true scale came out and MINC had time to discuss it at more detail. Unrelated? I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy of you being mad of spheres working together when you banded over half the game (well tried) a mere 3 months ago. If you wanted to truly unwind / deescalate, you would have less cryptic, especially regarding a time frame. Your essentially yelling at someone for missing a deadline that was never set. Once again your obv think a smaller sphere (Minc is outnumbered by Clock in every tier) should just take the L for others amusement, being from Syndicate this is a completely normal opinion for you to have, it comes from your roots. I cant really put anything else here due to your obvious lack of putting anything of substance in your post, furthering the likely hood of my original thought that this is being used as a easy escape from a far scarier and unknown outcome.

Reminder* Even IF we wanted to reach out to someone other than Oasis, the NAP is still in play for most players. We are very limited on who we are able to work with especially on short notice, I would almost bet no matter what sphere we work with, it would cause the numbers to be "to big". On that note I am happy to be working with Oasis, as there great peeps. Point being, no matter who we work with, the grouping / colo will be big. You are correct we were not part of the last war, however the other option was to add on to a dog pile, we had no place in the war and were not needed; additionally Gun and Roses occurred right after The Last Ride so obvs we were not ready for that one. I believe the correct decision was made. Sure we all accept the "inherit risk" of being a smaller sphere but when larger spheres target the smallest one, I dont think anyone will just accept the inherit risk, especially when the disparity is so big . What's humorous to me is the "causing stagnation" narrative that has been stated a few times, this narrative actually made me laugh irl. The fact that any sphere or alliance or person can try to claim that MINC or even Oasis is the reason for stagnation is absurd. There is already a huge disparity in tiering and scale, if the smaller spheres fight each other we just further the divide and do more harm to ourselves. I am not saying by any means that smaller spheres "shouldn't" fight, I am saying it shouldn't be done to fulfill the satisfaction of other spheres and alliances. All this does is take the light off the alliances that actually are stagnating the game and politics.

I'm not sure if your referring to us making it public or us calling it a MDP is the issue? or both...., on the point of making us a bigger target, I cant deny the fact for a small bit of time out overall numbers will be "large", however I feel with the positions and beliefs we discussed in private and public with other leadership they will recognize (atleast in private) were not a major threat to them or even the short term meta.
