  2. Fair enough. I do sort of like Hans idea though.
  3. Would it be harder to lose one of these controls too?
  4. Sure, blockades might be reasonably broken at the smaller nation sizes when there's only a couple ships to deal with, or in small scale fights. But in alliance warfare, alliance coordinated blockades are devastatingly powerful. Being able to start a war and minutes later having near every of note you're fighting blockaded is brokenly powerful. Best 4 points spent ever. Makes fights infrequently challenging, and therefore little fun when you're winning, even less when losing. I was chatting with Sheepy about how wars, mostly alliance wars, need to not be over in a matter of days. There should be prolonged fights, ups and downs, and so forth. We've yet to really see much of that outside of Rose v (just) EoS, before other alliances entered. So what do we do about the potency of mass-blockades at the start of a war?
  5. Their defense against boats was hinging on their knowledge of planes being able to kill them even in failure.
  6. Interested to see how the post-merger gov looks. Congrats to our friends in both VE and II.
  7. Someone making a push for 250 post reward you think?
  8. Which hour it updates on changes with daylights savings time. I also think the game does other functions on the off-hour, but that'd be a question for sheepy.
  9. It happens on the hour to help prevent against exploitation. There was a time when you could click to buy resources off of the market during the hour-mark update and gain the resources, then when the hour-mark update finished gain back your cash while still having the resources. Same could be done with buying buildings/infra/cities and so forth I believe. Snorlax prevents any nations from doing anything during the update and thus removing the exploit.
  10. Very good idea. If you hold air superiority the entire war, maybe 2 bombing strikes towards the end of the war would do damage on par with a single missile. To address shellhounds concern make a counter like with ground attacks, this counter however never reaches a cap (except the obvious cap of how many AP there are in a single war).
  11. I do believe stated I was wrong/mistaken. It's hard to keep track of all the deserters who say the same thing about their self-serving leadership.
  12. Since I've been in this game one thing has be made abundantly clear, DEIC/VoC's leadership don't care much about their members barring a select few. Just glancing at the money dispersal among members in their alliance versus gov members and larger members is sort of unnerving.
  13. Problem I have with this, what about 1v1 wars, will you be able to outpace their soldier production with your kill rate?
  14. Better than some of the fiction SK's written in the past about Guardian.
  15. Agreed. I don't mind if you general membership don't come and chat and hang out on IRC, but the gov should have an active presence there. That's how you get to know one another and form bonds that tend to be much stronger. Bug abuse is always bad.
  16. #bootleg http://7kingdoms.net/radio.htmlstarting in about 5-10 minutes.
  17. Basically. Winning takes ground attacks, so to mean each ground attack that adds to the victory point is like you pushing further into the lands. Once you win, you start pulling back, making money off their land while leaving. Think of it as looting. The more your forces are pulling out, the less they have to loot from.
  18. No, doesn't make sense, why should being at a disadvantage suddenly give you an advantage?
  19. We're so gonna win average score loss next update.
