^^^^^^This is the truth. Most of your large ships, CVNs, LHAs, LPDs, etc will usually go about 50 or so years before they are retired. The smaller "Tin Cans", FFGs (which they stopped building like 20 years ago), CGs, DDs and DDGs are usually good to 30 + years. I have a buddy who is on the decommissioning crew of the USS Dallas....the L.A. class fast attack sub that was used the movie "Hunt for Red October". It was commisioned in '81 and just got decommed March 5th....so 36 years of service.

Actually just starting too. This last fall, my 8th grade son made the H.S. varsity soccer team (in no way a starter, but did get in a lot of minutes though), so I'm watching and learning it. By experience, I'm an American football player/coach/fan. We are sort of familiar with Columbus due to having in-laws who live there and for the past 3 years (this year being the 4th), we've gone to Rock on the Range which is probably the U.S.'s largest rock festival and it's in the Crew stadium. So for those who do follow MLS closely.....what should I know and what should I keep an eye out for? Who has the biggest, baddest rivalry?

EDIT: No I don't have sick days per say, I get 120 hours a year to use for whatever and seeing as I work 2 weeks of four 10 hour days and 1 week of five 8 hours days, depending on when and where I use those hours gives me like 12-15 days off. Me personally, I'd like to spend my free time with my family and going on vacations, not standing around yelling "whoa is me.....my life sucks.....lets vandalize our nieghborhoods, destroy property and hurt other people.....that will show the government we mean business!"

I would just like to say on behalf of our dumb ass President, I'd like to forward to those folks in Sweden, our thoughts and prayers for that terrible tragedy that he heard about on Fox News. I hope you can find solace in the fact that you will not be forgotten, but will be remembered in the years to come as one of so many punch-lines regarding our current administration. I may be a little late to this here party, but Lightning, this has got to be the stupidest thing I think I've seen you post. Based on this, we should no longer go on someone's innocence or guilt but by statistics? If that's the case we are ALL in trouble. Statistically speaking the American people tried their hardest to root out and eradicate all the Native Americans due to our own greed, need for unopposed expansion and the need to feel/be the superior people on the continent. So, since we've done it before with a fairly large percentage of success, then statistically we'll be doing it again? It's amazing how people have forgotten the not so distant past.
