  1. o/ to ditcing a sinking ship You could be with me and the trash gang if you want!
  2. I just recently moved to NA so I could produce iron and coal, seems like a loss of $$$ to focus on steel in this game. I produced gasoline before but it never really felt worth it since there's never really as much of an need for gasoline as there is for steel/aluminium.
  3. You can call it any bird you want, that bird is a nazi fascist. And no matter what misguided shit IR has, they're red by my book. So are we.
  4. You can call them whatever you want, but if it talks like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and most differently acts like a duck, then you've got a duck in your hands. It's a shame when proclaimed socialists ally with ducks when there's other red birds out there they can hang out with.
  5. Not gonna lie, this is actually kinda poetic.
  6. Aiding another alliance in having to pay less reps is aiding them, no matter how much you twist and turn it. Surrendering and paying reps is a part of any war, aiding an ally who still hasn't surrendered can and most probably will be seen as an act of indirect Aggression. I don't care about your pixels. II honestly just don't want you to make a mistake that will lead to you losing your alliance members. How will you explain to them that you're getting rolled because of you? If everyone within the alliance is on the same page then I guess that's that. But don't act as if it's totally uncalled for, or as if you haven't gotten any chances to turn this in to a way of getting stronger from the war.
  7. You're aiding your enemies' enemy, although you've already surrendered and showed that you're not going to jump in to the war again. Though this type of thing isn't an act of Aggression per say, it is in a way an act of war. You can't expect to help your ally, who's still fighting, and not think you're gonna get !@#$ed over for it. You have no allies who can back you up, you have no fight power to get them to back off, you have no bargaining chip. That treaty is a piece of paper that can be interpreted anyway you will and the winning party is the one who lays out the meaning of each word. Taking that money was dishonorable to begin with, don't turn it in to an act of stupidity by being stubborn. Try to use this to your advantage instead. Forge new allies, split the money. Do something that isn't just you helping an ally who's both incompetent and more than willing to use you as a scapegoat.
  8. Buddy, I don't think this is a smart move on your part. That peace treaty of yours isn't some sort of magical document that turns you untouchable.
  9. Finally cobalt isn't run by a God damn minion. o/
  10. Sorry for bumping this up but a big issue with this update is that it's another thing that makes harder for smaller alliances to climb through the ranks. For a lot of new players it'll have the effect of them either merging their alliances with bigger ones or them just joining a top alliance. There's very few incentives to have an own alliance as it is, let alone seeing top 10 alliances getting ahead by just being in the top. Yes, you can sell your treasure, but as always you wont be getting the actual worth of said treasure, because the bigger alliance always has the option to just take it from you. So what's the big deal? Why care about smaller alliances? Think about it this way: imagine PoW a year from now, with the exact same alliances in the top #20 ranks. Maybe they've shuffled ranks a bit and maybe one or two have have merged, but everything else is exactly the same. Can you imagine how boring that is to most players? This is something that a lot of you have even complained about. Sure, this is a game where the stronger is suppose to have an advantage to the weaker. But no game is ever gonna be worth playing if it's so skewed in the bigger alliances favour that it becomes impossible for the smaller alliance to ever have an upper hand.
  11. Best of luck under InGen's wings! o/
  12. o/ Sad losing a game buddy. Best of wishes to LoN.
  13. My condolences to tS and anyone who knew him. I know what it's like to lose a friend too soon.
  14. I'm talking about CF, since you wrote IR is open to diplomatic relationships.
  15. We did when you guys first started out. You basically told us to go !@#$ ourselves. I ain't mad, it was expected. But don't go lying.
  16. But honestly, it's not uncommon or weird to treat new players with kindness and mercy, just to not scare them away from the game. I mean, it's not like nation simulator games are swamped with new players. If me being a bit kind to another player means they wont quit after a week then that's worth more than me getting to stomp on them. What I however find ironic is people condemning anyone for being ruthless in this game, that's just hypocrisy. Anyone who's spent more than a month playing this game would easily sell their mother for some ingame credits, so let's not play the blame game here.
  17. But that's the natural order in a game of politics and war where alliances try to accumulate treaties and protection to become untouchable. The more allies you try to enlist, the more casualties will be had once war inevitable happens. The logical order isn't to then try to gain more protection or to make up moral rules for when it is or isn't okay to attack certain alliances. I mean I can't predict the future or alternative realities but I have a feeling this would have happened eventually, considering how most top alliances are so tied up in treaties that wars turn in to a game of jenga. Maybe it's best for alliances to start thinking about why they feel a need to have protection, but also overseeing how they can avoid raids and how they can be prepared if they're ever swept in to war again. Because no amount of protection is ever gonna be enough to keep you away from conflicts.
  18. In my humble opinion I think it's waste of time and money to look for another alliance to protect you.
  19. Excuse me, we're trying to have a conversation here.
  20. You both may call yourself the one true prophet of communism but how come I haven't seen one single zizek meme from either party?
