It'd be so much easier to resent Polaris for being a politically inert trashpile if they didn't literally fund the war effort against their allies. Edit: But no seriously, the value of that is about twice Polaris' damage so far this war. Even assuming KT only gets a 1:1 damage ratio out of the resources, which is probably less than fair because they've done better than that by far to this point, it is still fair to say that Polaris's contribution to this war has been less than worthless.

Be well max! Your site was cool! This isn't a failure at all. You now have demonstrated you can build something like that, which is an awesome thing that will be with you in whatever else you do. Sitting around and thinking about things you could do and never doing them is so much more of a failure than having projects you make, and then move forward from. Yeah cn is the only possible reason anyone might not like you. There definitely aren't at least 3 other things in this single post that would make people think you guys are awful. Here's a casual reminder: no one hit you. You were aggressive in this war, based on a fabricated narrative and dated set of logs that just happened to justify you hitting the same people you've been hitting for literal years. That has nothing to do with that other game.

The reason I did that is because Keshav is a liar, so I'm not believing him that the BK-NPO tie was as nebulous as he was claiming, since obviously that is precisely what a disingenuous FA person would claim, and that's what he is. It's a little situational. When it's "defending" an optional ally that is being hit because they signed off on an aggressive war plan they did not initially tell TFP about, I'd have told them to buzz off, probably.

Thanks for the reply. I made an edit because my question was (apparently) unclear. You had agreed to hit our allies in the TCW leak. Everything past that was just gravity. That is what I meant.

So here's a (new?) question for NPO people. Let's say that I'm willing to understand that rather than a faith-based, ideologically aligned sense of being allied, which is my personal preference, there is also a more calculating, transactional style of dealing with agreements that is governed more by explicit agreements. Let's say, for purposes of the question I'm posing here, both are valid, and NPO's style is more like the latter, and that's ok. Was it not then a violation of your intelligence clauses with t$ and Horsemen (for example) to allow them to enter into a global conflict while deliberately withholding information that pertained directly to the military and political ramifications of that entry? Even when I try to wrap my head around a more NPO-style gameplay it still seems obvious to me that your alliance is disingenuous and inconsistent.

Can I just quote this? Read it. That's it. You maintained a paperless agreement with BK, making you the largest possible grouping in the game no matter what anyone else did. Then, you tried to maneuver, with some success, an ailing and sporadically active t$ government into joining your old grouping. Good try: probably would have been fine if you guys could fight better, or if t$ lacked the ability or inclination to course-correct. Enjoy your war. You wanted it, not us.

I don't intend to shit on you personally, Roq. And I think you're a very good leader, actually: the measure of a leader is if they represent their community, so my own opinions on your play style are totally irrelevant. However, you have a nasty habit of deliberately pushing false narratives against my friends. People I know to be earnest, and not playing the game in the same way as you. When you do that, I'm going to push back, and I don't feel at all wrong to do it. Sorry: you don't get to act like a victim when declaring an aggressive war on TKR, again, for flimsy reasoning without me both trying to slap down your alliance, and your narrative. That's the whole game.

You know, it's sad. I love a good conspiracy, but my best rule of thumb for these games is "never put down to conspiracy what could be explained by being inept", and it rarely fails me. : ( Also edit: I'm definitely not jumping on the t$ kumbaya love train here, by the by.
