  1. Nothing to do with "shots fired", merely that Jroc already answered it as best as possible so your post of that manner is unneeded and degrades his own. Jroc's post makes me want to believe him on the reasons why, yours does the opposite. Your efforts while no doubt appreciated only bring attention back to why your policy got changed which if you're humble people can let go, not so much if you're still trying to be a big man about it.
  2. Well depending on your thoughts on the mater of presidents it wouldn't be amusing at all (it'd be obvious). The Bush and Clinton families are seen as essentially royal houses in some circles especially with how Hillary and than Jeb may well be who America's next presidents are, and heck after them may well be Clinton's daughter so yeah. Though I dispute such talk of course. Two families dominating a democratic system doesn't turn the country into a monarchy. No, it turns a plutocracy (what America's government type is supposed to be) into an oligarchy which a lot of people think are the same thing but not quite.
  3. Bit late on the trigger considering Jroc already provided a nice response simply not worth pressing. If you want to undo that by trying to be clever with some images than please do go ahead.
  4. To be fair it does make a good point in regards to the rich men getting foreign lovers. Many have power which is nature's best aphrodisiac, and many have money which is man's best made aphrodisiac so they are hardly going to find trouble getting someone from their own country. So why go foreign? Maybe they have a fever of some kind.
  5. When you no longer have a nation you'll not be able to spectate (and post anyway) for much longer, just in case you're not aware.
  6. They didn't have a good time raiding Arrgh protected alliances.
  7. Well that certainly didn't last long. Whatever the case the correct step all things considered... for Rose anyway considering from how it reads that they were the ones who got that changed. Congratulations to Rose.
  8. Well if you put yourself in a rush to find something negative you'll find it as such. Whatever the case misreading happens.
  9. No idea how you could think that was referring to Rose though that sort of things seems to be a trend.
  10. Predictable so as I said no congratulations in order. An excellent show of intelligence when you know you're being manipulated and go along with it anyway because being easily played is just such a good quality. So anyway the ranked 19 alliance with 16K score is a protectorate? When you going to start wearing the big boy pants?
  11. I'd say unexpected but Titan has been hoovering up everybody. Seeing the likes of Printer over there has me question what mind control linguistics Henry is using in his messages. Anyway... congratulations to you.
  12. You don't need to be outside an alliance and at 0 score to have that. As long as you don't disintegrate and become a caricature of yourself you can say what you want with little issue.
  13. Such an attempt would be such a disaster politically I doubt it was ever seriously seen as an option.
  14. He could call himself whatever he wants, I doubt being "president" would allow the usage of any actual power/influence.
  15. Okay than thank you for confirming that for me. I don't do cheap heat. Only the expensive refined refreshments for me ever since I stumbled about for six months slurring out negativities after getting drunk off the cheap stuff.
  16. I'm sorry but the post while a good effort has some discrepancies. It begins seemingly with you (Danger) speaking however part way through it clearly seems to become Henry speaking, and than it goes back to you. Feel free to do a joint post if you want, but some colouring or name tags on who is saying what would be splendid. Secondly there is no mention of "loans" anywhere so you finisher line while truthful is also meaningless. Thirdly just because you got someone's word (which logs of would be nice) doesn't mean you're out of the woods especially if Grealind has the final say. Though ultimately the biggest damning part of all this is you did in fact agree to it in a ploy to bring in a bigger alliance. Had you denied it straight off than that would have been a whole different ballgame. Though admittedly I have to say you adapt well at the very least. No one apparently took the gold so now you are preying on the negative emotions some people have towards Grealind, primarily Rose no doubt. Which if they are so easily manipulated as to actually save you from this matter than I'll not even bother congratulating you as it would have been clearly too easy.
  17. I'm not following sorry. You saying he got money distributed to him off those days, or is it a roundabout way of saying he paid it off by taking part in those days? Had a look at the bank records because as Kastor said it wasn't a loan. It seems it was in fact city grants with the last being on the 25th of the last month.
  18. You could clarify further. It was some grants than I assume?
  19. You enforce something based on your power to enforce it (unless its so important you do a suicide run for it). Colbalt and Titan are somewhat even so within their capabilities to enforce it, simple.
  20. Well I am certainly pleased that the alliance in question was of a good enough mind to deny Kastor. It's true you'd get 20 million out of it but it'd come at the cost of looking like slime. I don't like big alliances bullying smaller ones, but what is even worse is when a small alliance tries to get a bigger one to bully someone for them. Hard to feel sorry for Titan in future if anything unfortunate were to happen to them. As for if they should pay or not. Ultimately they had the option to outright deny having to pay anything which is a worthy enough cause for Colbalt to declare war over if they want to. Instead they agreed to the terms (which are quite large considering the poached member in question is 450 score, but if that is the money owed than it is what it is) to give time to find a big alliance willing to be his goons and attack Colbalt from behind... reminds me of a scene I watched some days back in the three kingdoms tv series where Cao Cao got Yuan Shao to sit down for tea with him before their big clash at Guandu promising to give him an entire province, the emperor, and the promise that he would never oppose Yuan Shao again if he agreed to peace... all to buy time for his cavalry to circle around the enemy force which after getting makes him laugh in Yuan's face and run away. Fortunately (for all of us) Kastor does not have the level of ability of Cao Cao so we're pretty safe.
  21. As long as it is clearly marked as roleplay there really isn't any issue with it.
  22. I'm not understanding. Why would whatever Grealind said be an issue and cause you to disband an alliance you seemed to see bringing back as a very important issue. Dropping it so quickly just makes it look like you didn't actually care all that much outside doing the obvious.
  23. Just seems like they were jerking you around honestly as it's odd to have this be such a big deal for so long... and than give it up the moment they get it. Well hey you gave them the chance and people will make note of that, not really losing anything. Good luck to them in Titan.
  24. I assume it works like it normally does in such cases. When those fighting back are small it'll be "look at how big our balls are", and when those fighting back are powerful it'll be "well we don't condone what was done so we're respectfully staying out of this". I'm hoping that won't be the case of course but it often is.
