  1. I doublechecked with someone else before I did it this time o/ Guardian o/ DEIC o/ Mensa and ah what the hell o/Vanguard (I much preferred o/GR)
  2. There is literally no possible way for monthly awards to not be repetitive (and pointless actually). The cognitive dissonance in this post is staggering. Of course everyone who's posted, myself included, has now given this horseshit far more attention than it deserves, and should be smacked in the head.
  3. I've got no interest in getting involved in the mud-slinging going on here, so I'll probably exit after this post. But to address SRD's substantive question, of course we knew Guardian and TEst were gonna have a little whatever you want to call it with CU beforehand. It would strain even the substantial amount of credulity the PW community possesses to claim otherwise. We said okey dokey, whatever floats your boat, and we may have told them they'd take a PR hiding for it, (I think I did, but I can't remember for sure). Believe it or not them letting us know was pretty much the extent of the conversation about. We said cool, you guys do your build up however you want, we'll handle ours. No offense to CC but they were essentially irrelevant at the time. If they hadn't been, yeah probably would have been a longer conversation. Also with all love and respect to TEst, (Blood for the Blood God), I can truthfully say that very rare are any conversations I have with TEst that involve long-term planning and ramifications. (In fact I can only recall one, and it was in September or October, and actually involved the possibility of us warring them over a kerfluffle that SK admittedly handled badly and blew insanely out of proportion.) Most of my conversations about war with them begin and end with some variant of "Want to blow more !@#$ up." And with that I exit stage left. I've hit my quota for OWF rehashing for the month Enjoy the fun everyone. EDIT: Also, as a mostly irrelevant aside, isn't self-flagellation beating yourself? First time I ever heard it used to mean self pleasuring.
  4. Also I know it's fun and all making Pre the boogeyman, but in the interest of accuracy, finger pointing for hitting GPA should probably be directed at me. It was largely my suggestion.
  5. nvm didn't read all the responses.
  6. I've enjoyed working with Mensa in various situations over the last few months, and here's to a continued productive relationship. o/ Mensa
  7. Shit long time ago. I barely remember those days. I think Guardian and SK now hold the title for oldest alliances that still exist. Both came over at pretty much the same time (maybe a day in between) and the oldest iteration of the power rankings that exists has them both on their. DEIC would in second place there, a couple weeks younger. o/ the old guard
  8. Rose's uh, paranoia wasn't entirely or maybe even mostly due to feeling Guardian used them. It's fair to say I came down on them like a sack of bricks any number of times during the war, especially during the cluster!@#$ that was peace talks, so that undoubtedly contributed to their feelings of isolation. I can't remember exactly what was said anymore, but it's certainly not out of the realm of possibility that I openly threatened to roll Pub
  9. Setting aside entirely the war itself (if I were Hereno, I'd have absolutely demanded reps paid to the bank, and if I were Mensa, I'd more than likely have told him to !@#$ off) ..... .....this post is really in my view a fundamental misunderstanding of the role of reps. Raids are honestly pretty easy to rebuild from. In terms of the hassle of actually negotiating reps verse the actual cost of the damage done, 90% of the time you might as well just skip them and rebuild the nation yourself. The purpose of reps is to be a disincentive to pursue the behavior (i.e. raiding your member) in the future. Rebulding the nation is incidental to the reason for reparations. If the reps are just for rebuilding or regaining what was lost than there's no reason for the raider to not continue to engage in the same behavior towards you. At worst, they break even. At best, you get tired of negotiating reps, and they profit. While obviously there are times when you might want to just recoup losses (for other political reasons) if your default position on reps is just to regain what you lost, you're wasting your own time and weakening yourself. This, incidentally, is why reps for any raids against SK members are for damages plus a punitive fee, which varies depending on political considerations, how much I like you, your attitude during negotiations, past history, and how much I've had to drink that day.
  10. My income hasn't been effected. That being said I'm 100% sure this is real. We have a 747 score nation that is sending our bank 33,700 per turn. At at 10% tax rate, that means they're making 4million per day after expenses. That simply isn't possible without a bug. https://politicsandwar.com/nation/id=10203<- This is the nation. We have a 610 score nation giving us 28,500 per turn. That's 3.4 mil a day. Again not possible. https://politicsandwar.com/nation/id=10875<- The other nation. https://politicsandwar.com/alliance/id=615&display=banktaxes<- Tax records I'm basing the infor on.
  11. Does anyone bother to check existing reports before making threads? Literally the top thread in the Tech Support forum was about this exact same issue. smh ^Also this. Within SK incomes range from correct to 3x what they should be.
  12. Cynic paid you before he paid me? I must be losing my intimidating aura. Time to go threaten him with more Karaoke T. Swizzle.
  13. Now with 100% less Cody! Fun for the whole family!
  14. Based on the taxes being collected from my alliance, it doesn't seem to be increasing every nations income by the same ratio. The ratio of income increases (judged via taxes) has varied from 1.2 to 3x the correct income. My guess would be whatever the bug is, it's not directly affecting gross income, but rather some other component of the formula.
  15. Not seeing that pattern in SK's bank tax records at all. Taxes at 10%, the 10am and 12pm server time turns took 10% of income, the 2pm turn took anywhere from 1.2 to 3x that 10% rate, depending on the nation. I have no idea what's going on.
  16. lol. Y'all go ahead and reset entire alliance(s) for code flaws that have been known for months and not fixed. Enjoy the tens of players you have after that. Everytime you think the administration of this game couldn't get more amateur, they go and find a way to prove you wrong. QFT.
  17. Green Protection Agency has provided the identity of the leaker, and evidence proving said identity, to Seven Kingdoms, Guardian, and Terminus Est (hereafter The Coalition). The Coalition has reviewed this evidence, and finds it satisfactory. In accordance with the terms previously agreed to and publicly posted on March 30th 2015, as well as the terms below, the war between the Green Protection Agency and The Coalition is hereby ended. These terms are as follow: An election to replace Grillick will be held by the Green Protection Agency. He will step down as Triumvir of Military Affairs not more than 10 days from today. He will not stand for election to Triumvir or any other office for 6 months. Grillick will not be appointed to Director, or any lesser office, for 2 months. If this condition these conditions are not met, or if they are broached, this peace agreement is null and void. If it becomes clear that Grillick is leading, or otherwise exerting control over the Green Protection Agency before the 6 month period is up, this peace agreement is null and void. Both The Coalition and The Green Protection Agency will direct their members to remove any embargoes placed against the opposing side. The Coalition forces will beige any Green Protection Agency opponents they may currently be fighting. The Coalition further wishes to state that this wipes the slate clean between them and Green Protection Agency. They view Green Protection Agency as a neutral alliance going forward, and as long as the Green Protection Agency remains neutral in the future, they will afford them the same treatment they give to other neutral alliances. Signed for the Green Protection Agency Godfrey, Triumvir of Foreign Affairs Oberstein, Triumvir of Internal Affairs Grillick, Triumvir of Military Affairs Signed for Guardian Shellhound Prefontaine Signed for Terminus Est ElPinchazo Signed for Seven Kingdoms
  18. Moved to the our neck of the woods eh? Welcome. Congrats Shelly. Pre, you ran off before one of us betrayed the other. Not cool man.
  19. FWIW nobody asked Mensa to do this. We're not using them as a clever (or not so clever) way around the pledge we made yesterday.
