@Alex How big are the pixel awards, typically? 10x10? 20x20? File types / size limit? Is there a repository for examples of awarded pixel icons? Perhaps this one can set some artists on drawing and/or animating some small icons as awards. There were a lot this year.

This is an interesting interpretation of the rules and I would like to see what Alex has to say about it. I would not be opposed to having both my Nation Ruler Name and my Forums Username changed to "Master Joi," to make sure that both match each other 100% perfectly. "Joi" by itself is nice but it lacks the distinction of the ruling robotic class. We shall simply have to see.

I'm the accused. I've noticed that the user Clarke has reported me twice today for two excessively tame examples of "rule-breaking" that actually do no such thing. One report is for me using my Ruler's title 'Supreme Master' as part of their username, and now this report is trying to get me in trouble for saying that marijuana is legal in my nation. This is just silly, and it's obvious that Clarke is grasping at straws. Alex has gone on record saying that 'weed-themed nations are not against the rules.' I would hardly say that Robotopia is weed-themed, even. It is simply legal there, and it is certainly not mandatory. Also, as far as their ableism comment goes, it seems that the OP of this thread has never heard of an elevator or a ramp.

Has anyone ever wanted to sell their armies' weapons to the highest bidder? Maybe share their toys with a friend? Tanks, planes, boats, missiles, nukes, spies, all for purchase (but at a premium, to represent a training and housing cost)? It would allow for army buys above the normal daily recruitment and project limits, and allow for alliance members to bolster their allies' forces with their own production lines. What would be good or bad about this idea? Please share your thoughts.

In light of another thread I began writing something up, but it became enough of a developed idea that I felt it could use it's own thread. Here's this one's humble suggestion to make Ground Control more important: a Trenches mechanic. Trenches (or Entrenchment) are a special fortifications representing tunnels, holes, traps, walls, and underground bunkers and shelters that passively increase combat effectiveness and survivability of Soldiers in defensive wars and increase casualties in attacking ground troops. An attacker having Ground Control from an immense triumph negates the effectiveness of Trenches, however. All cities can build / support Trenches - their effectiveness and cost could be factored based on land area vs money spent and army size, up to a certain limit. Feel free to discuss this idea - I'm sure it has some merits.

The nation description is: "Your Mom A Guy! Your Dad A Trap! Your Gay!" ('Trap' being a derogatory term for a pre-operation trans-female.) Their city names are: frick Boys, Big Boys, Gay Boys, Dead Boys, Good Boys, Dangerous Boys, Nice Boys, name removed, Small Boys, and Straight Boys. The curse word in the first city name is bad enough to warrant a warn, but combined with all the other kinds of sexualized boys (ie straight vs gay) and the removed city name, it seems like they have a theme going. Last but not least, their baseball team is called "Because You Big Gay" and they play at "frick Boys" stadium. That's at least three strike-worthy offenses on an inactive nation. Please consider banning, mods. Thanks.

Why now, you ask? This one simply hadn't noticed before. If you'd like to continue this derail, why does it matter? These are in the Posting Rules, and they are the 2nd rule mentioned in the forums' rules: Forum names must match in-game ruler names. You may change your forum name once every 30 days through your profile, or you may request a name change in the Forum Name Change Request forum if yours does not match. If you missed rule #2 because you either didn't actually read it or didn't think that it applied to you, then frankly I feel you should be concerned for yourself.

Hello - The subject of the thread title says it all. As it stands, there is currently no way to see the customized military leaders' names or the names for their troops and forces, outside of engaging in war. There's a section in every nation page that shows the custom images for the nation's Soldiers, Tanks, Aircraft, Ships, Spies, Missiles, and Nuclear Weapons, and these can be customized even further with the VIP pass. Regardless of the VIP pass, all players are able to customize what they name their land, air, and water armies and those armies' leaders. I propose that users should be able to see the custom names for others' ground troops, air forces, and navies somewhere on their respective nation pages, likely in the Military section (or else in the fact book). -larations. Unless I am mistaken, the character limit of war declarations has recently been reduced, and personally I feel it should be reverted to how it was before. Forty characters is simply not enough space to write out a proper cassus belli from one nation to another. Just as an example, the title of this thread is only forty characters, and it's not enough space to communicate a full thought. I would suggest doubling the limit to 80 characters at least, which is still 60 less characters than twitter's original character limit of 140. Mods / Alex, could you explain this recent change - what was the reasoning behind only allowing forty characters in war declarations, and would it be troublesome to increase the character limit?
