Vanek26
https://politicsandwar.com/nation/id=12737&display=war One of our players went inactive, so 3 of my members attacked him to farm him a bit. All three of them did their ground attacks, ect, ect, and defeated him in due course. However, 3 other players soon attacked him, and he is listed as on gray. How is that possible? Dwynn
The only way it could be possible is if the nation moved off of beige. Seeing as he was beiged on 3/28 he would have had beige protection for 5 days from the final beige which would be 3/2. Quote He's right, I'm such a stinker. Play my exceptional game! Tenages
Game reports him as last active on 3/17, so he couldn't have changed his own color. Maybe nations who go gray due to inactivity don't get sent to beige after defeat?

It must override the 5-day beige. Quote He's right, I'm such a stinker. Play my exceptional game!

I've noticed it too, it happens often enough that I think it was subtly put in the game coding so people can take the resources and move them down the ladder in score to sort legitimate players from inactives. Oh yea, I meant to get around to reporting that bug, Defeating anyone on grey does not move them to beige, as far as I can tell. They turn gray after every update. This could also be true, haven't paid much attention, tbh Edited March 30, 2015 by underlordgc Quote Orbis Wars | CSI: UPN | B I G O O F | PW Expert Has Nerve To Tell You How To Run Your Own Goddamn Alliance | Occupy Wall Street | Sheepy Sings TheNG - My favorite part is when Steve suggests DEIC might have done something remotely successful, then gets massively shit on for proposing such a stupid idea. Dwynn
They turn gray after every update. That would have had to have been a recent bug implemented then before Sheepy left, because I was definitely on beige for my 60 turn timer just a week or so ago. Quote He's right, I'm such a stinker. This is just for inactive nations, you know that guys that turned gray automatically due to inactivity such as the nation in the OP. Whenever a nation reaches that no of inactive days that turns them automatically to gray I think that is the point that beige is reset to gray every night. Administrators Alex Posted April 8, 2015 Administrators Share Posted April 8, 2015 If you're on beige, and you declare a war you automatically flip to gray. Also, as far as I can tell everyone should get their turns on beige before being moved automatically to gray regardless of whether they're active or not. Quote Is there a bug? Administrators Alex Posted April 8, 2015 Administrators Share Posted April 8, 2015 Nevermind, there was an old script that previously moved all nations to gray if they'd been inactive for 7 days once a day. I've removed that part of the script, it should work as intended, now. Quote Is there a bug? Report It | Not understanding game mechanics? Ask About It | Got a good idea?
