It is clear that players are taking advantage of the market via arbitrage and making huge profits. This also tends to benefit those who have the time and in-game wealth to monitor opportunities and to bulk buy and sell. As an example from a 5mil starting point in the past I turned that into $300million in less than a month. That's $295million pure profit. 

My suggestion is to have set prices for each resource that never change. This change will still allow people to buy and sell resources on the market, but will stop extra cash being generated into the economy. Alternatively reduce the max/min price you can sell/buy above/below the average price to 1/10 of what the average is. I.e if average is 2000 you can set your price at 2200 or 1800.

Let the shitfest commence.

Yeah right, commie. Setting prices means ignoring supply and demand. No cash goes into the economy in trades, it just changes hands. And if you want a better deal, you'd just trade off the market. 

If you don't like that you made money by playing the market, go outside.

The market doesn't generate money, baseball does

 

Creates new money for the player: Baseball, nation revenue thanks to infra, etc.

No new money are created, they just change hands: Market, looting, etc.

Creates new money and then changes hands: Polaris bank

The market absolutely generates money. 

 Credits = generated cash.

What people are saying is if you nerf baseball for those reasons then you also need to nerf trading. No one that supports baseball actually wants these additional gameplay elements to be nerfed. There is a ton of ideas, fixes elsewhere in the main part of the game that need implementing before even looking at gameplay elements that actually have people playing the game and retaining people. As mentioned this is a joke suggestion, however its exactly on the same lines as the baseball suggestion. If you nerf one you need to nerf the other. Keno, Dice, credits too.
