As time goes buy there are times when we should look at expanding the use of military units and create new units to bring new ideas and strategy to the game to improve development and game play. Adding new units would also possibly lead to a new building or two for the military or the use of a current building pending on the type of unit. For this I suggest currently the addition of at least 1 new unit.

 

- Artillery : built using the current building (Factory), the Artillery would effect both Soldiers and Tanks and add the feature of increased damage against Infrastructure. I am thinking a more damage against Soldiers and slight damage against Tanks with an additional percentage to infrastructure.

Even as someone who has rarely found himself on the losing side of an Air war,(less than a handful) throughout my time in PnW, the lack of any sort of AA outside of other Air Units really didn't sit well with me over time as my own Air force grew. Larger Airforces with no equal opposition can destroy ridiculous amounts of ground units and infra with little opposition. Aircraft are still pretty powerful tbqh and I personally feel a dedicated Anti Air unit, or light Anti air capabilities on behalf of ground forces could do something to lessen that.

 

Air Superiority can't be achieved from the ground but it sure as hell can be denied from it to varying degrees.

 

That's just me though.

What about anti aircraft guns for ground units?

I'm fine with that if Sheep adds AGM-88s for air forces.

How about this:

 

  1. I go to the wars page
  2. I go to fortify
  3. It takes me to a "Fortify" page where it says that in addition to the current effects of fortification, I can choose to either add extra anti-air defenses, land mines or some other defense against soldiers and tanks, sea mines for naval ships - but you can only choose one each time you fortify

I like this, it also adds depth to the fortify aspect.

Sounds like it would be interesting, but Fortifying is strong enough as is. If I'm not mistaken, you still can completely avoid losing a war with nothing but fortifying. Adding the ability to kill troops to that would be that much more overpowered
